Date: Monday, February 28th, 2011 Characters: Leah Watson, Rivkah Greenburg, anyone else? Location: Angel Abbey Status: Public Summary: Leah slips out to the Abbey for dinner. Completion: Incomplete
Rivkah had decided that the next time she talked to Alex, she was going to talk about getting a little plaque for one of the bar stools with her name on it. She'd spent more nights at the Abbey in the last few weeks than not. Perching on a stool, she decided she wouldn't stay long. The brief tomorrow would require her sharp and alert. A good looking woman was sitting alongside her and Rivkah flashed her a smile.
"No matter how hard you look, they won't divulge the secret of life."
Leah laughed at the comment, glancing over at the woman who'd spoke to her. "I hadn't really expected them to. I'm more interested in something to improve my otherwise blah Monday," she added with a grin, propping her cheek against her hand. "In which case, most of them are probably smugly volunteering, as they typically do."
"I'm a jack and coke girl myself, but for the blahs, I always aim for something with bright colors." She gestured at some of the pretty colored liquors on the bottom shelf. "Of course, it depends on your feelings about girlie drinks."
"I've never had a problem with girlie drinks, I rather enjoy being a girl," Leah commented, looking amused. "Although I suppose I'll go with a Long Island iced Tea tonight. That sounds like it's the most tempting. And bartenders almost never screw that one up. I've never actually been here before," she admitted, glancing over at the woman with a wry smile. "I had a free night and I'd heard good things, so I thought I'd try it out."
