Max pulled up behind a Jeep at Jack's house, guessing the guy with the blueprints must be Cale Bright. He hoped he wasn't late. Class had run a few minutes past, and he'd scrambled through lunch traffic to get there.

He got out and approached the man, hands in his pockets. "Mr. Bright? Max Stuart." He pulled a hand out to shake. "Good to meet you, sir." If Bright was to be his boss, he'd do his best to suck up to the man.

Cale turned as another vehicle pulled up in Jack's drive and smiled in greeting as Max hopped out and introduced himself. "Same here," he replied as he shook Max's hand. "Please, just call me Cale. Mr. Bright's still my grandfather and it makes me feel old," he added with a chuckle. "I appreciate you taking the time to meet with me."

"Cale. Max then." He smiled and modded. "No problem. Good to know the man in charge." He glanced at the plans. "This what we'll be doing, then?" He'd heard some of the ideas, but not seen the official drawings, which he could interpret a little.

"A pleasure to finally meet you, Max," Cale answered with an easy grin, then motioned the other man closer in invitation when he expressed an interest in the plans. "This would be it. Or some of it, at least. The structural changes to the actual building, at least. The kitchen's in dire need of expansion and updating. So are all the bathrooms. And I have a feeling the plumbing and wiring may need a complete overhaul as well," he added with a grimace. "Still, for what it's worth, it could be much worse. When I walked through it last week, everything looked relatively sound."
