There was a second where the shock of blond hair could have been Yurika, and Romeo was about to tell her that he'd had the strangest and most awful dream.
Then he came more awake and realized he was wrong.
Was Rikku awake? He couldn't be sure. Best not to wake her, if she wasn't. She needed the oblivion of sleep as badly as he did. He managed a quiet, tentative, "Morning?"
"I didn't think I could sleep," she admitted. And here was where she dusted herself off and stood up and nodded, firmly, and marched off to save the day.
