Room 308, Before the Dance!

Right! So! She'd finished work and Dojima-the-awesome had helped with her hair and she had a dress and she had a necklace and she had a ring and she had a Turk. ... Okay, she'd have a Turk any minute now.

In the meantime, she could always fidget more.

places: room 308, festivities: valentine's day dance, my friends rock, reno, dōjima

Right! So! Reno was clothed, in a snazzy 3-piece suit that Rude had picked for him on the internet, and he owed Doji drinks or something for making sure he didn't put his vest on inside out, or try to wear his cufflinks in his ears or something stupid like that.

He was all set, really. Except he needed a Rikku. Which, naturally, was why he was knocking at her door.

Knock knock!

No more fidgeting! None! Okay, plenty of fidgeting, and a bit of throwing the door open and --

And gaping.

He wasn't ... wearing his Turks suit?

He was ....

"Hi," Rikku said, a little breathlessly.

Well. She wasn't the only one who was one with the breathlessness, here.

Reno was having difficulty remembering what word came after 'hi,' upon seeing her in that dress, with her hair done up and the necklace he'd gotten her, so he was going to lift a hand and wave.

Almost shyly, even. What the heck was up with that?

... The hell with waving. She needed to be kissed, right now. And not just to make up for the fact that he'd forgotten to bring a corsage.

Kissing. Was. Was. Better than breathing, that was for sure, and she wasn't going to bother with breathing until it got very insistent at her.

Stupid air.

"For me?" she asked, searching his eyes. "You ... that's not ..."

It wasn't that he looked amazing. Okay, it wasn't just that he looked amazing. It was ... the whole, this is clearly not a Business Suit. And.
