Long day. Mostly a long day of talking himself out of stomping off to the park to beat the shit out of things. Even Reno had a sense of self-control. Tseng would be proud. At least he would be if Reno had bothered to answer any of his texts to tell him that he wasn't going to be an idiot, dammit.
He needed air. He and his stun baton needed air. He and his stun baton needed air and Rikku, who he hadn't been able to find once he'd heard the news about Deadpool at the town meeting, and the roof was a good place for air.
... And Rikku. Apparently.
He gave his EMR a thoughtful tap against his shoulder before walking across the roof toward her.
"Air's good," he agreed with a nod, standing a few feet away from her for a moment before stepping over to take a seat beside her. "Good place for air, here on the roof, yoto."
It was easy enough to tell she'd been crying. And for all the world, he had no idea what to do. But... Shit. She was Rikku. He'd give it a shot.
