is the only multi-colored one Amazon carries, and it is obviously _not_ LED!

http://www.thechristmaslightemporium.com/5MM-LED-Christmas-Lights_c_368.html are what I used this year. They are little bulbs but the cut of the plastic shines light in any direction, just like old glass bulbs did.
