. . . [and] sometimes hides sorrow."* That's how I felt about last night's opera performance because it marked the end of my 2006-2007 opera season. Sorrowful. And yet, it ended on a high note with the Met's new production of Il Trittico, Puccini's opera of three one-acts: Il Tabarro, Suor Angelica, and Gianni Schicci. Joyful.

I'm sad that the season's over and I haven't even gone with you!!! :( I'm glad that the last one of the operas had both the music and the set. You deserve to finish the season in style :)

I'm glad your last opera had all the good stuff. Yet, I'm sorry that it's your last for a while. It's fun gushing with you about performances.
