For sale: one pair of Cambridge (UK) Folk Festival tickets - make me an offer ...

I've just posted my pair of folk festival tickets up on Gumtree, but if anyone wants to make me a good offer for the tickets, then I'd rather sell them to friends (or friends of friends) even if I make a small loss (otherwise I'll be sticking a note on the tree outside the festival site tomorrow trying to find buyers ( Read more... )

Tickets sold out so slowly this year, unlike in previous years (last year they were reporting sold out within a couple of days of going on sale ... this year it was weeks)

If you can swing past Cambridge, come visit us at Constitution the Unicon/British RPGA/Filkcon at New Hall, it would be lovely to see you.

Sorry - I don't have a beard and read the Weekend Guardian so won't be able to get in. BTW seen them on sale else where for £75, so you may want to think about lowering the price for them.

Good luck.

I did say "if anyone wants to make me a good offer for the tickets" ... I've seen tickets advertised with all sorts of prices, from 2 for £150 upwards, but I'll take a good offer, or I'll just go for as much of the time as I can as I've spent the money already.

It's clear you haven't spent much time at the festival before, you'll find it's a wide range of people, and a great range of music, and no more beards than you'd see wandering the streets of Cambridge. But to each their own :-) but you're probably right, they wouldn't let you in (grin!)
