thank you for your kind reply you're sweet i did delete the pitiful entry I will replace it with happier stuff a local story about a blind man with a migraine who ended up getting his sight back. :)
I'm looking them up on amazon because walgreens no longer sells the base part of it only the filter I may have to switch to Pur or some other instead. :(
Hi! I just wanted to say I really enjoyed the programme at Eastercon - I didn't meet you there (that I know of!) but a friend told me that you were programmer.
It was my first con and I thought you might appreciate positive feedback as I had a fantastic time :)
You're very welcome! Con running "pays" in hugs and thanks, and it's always really nice to be thanked!
Actually Judith Proctor (watervole) was in charge of programme, I merely assisted, worked on database support (database was done by SteveK (sugoll)) and was one of the three people responsible for making sure everything ran to time ... plus I was up on stage introducing the opening and closing ceremony, Doctor Who, and thanking Mitch Benn at the end of his set and getting him back for an encore. The rest of the time I worked operations :-)
I'm very pleased you had a good time, and hope that you will consider coming to Redemption (http://www.smof.com/redemption) next February in Coventry, or next year's Eastercon (http://www.illustrious.org.uk) at Birmingham NEC (I'm on the committee for both of those!) or attending one of the numerous smaller conventions around the country such as NewCon, PicoCon, MicroCon etc.
