I'm sort of looking myself and if I see two, I'll let you know.
I was really surprised when I saw this year's lineup because I hadn't bothered as the last few years weren't that exciting (for me at least) but it had been too late by then.

Actually, I don't usually pay much attention to the line up, I go to see my friends and have a nice relaxing weekend lazing around a park, chatting, eating & drinking, doing a little shopping (for things like musical instruments) and generally having a good time, with great music going on that I occasionally get closer to when something catches my attention, or a favourite artist is playing. But it is a good lineup this year, and I guess that's why they've sold out even earlier than usual.

Yes, please keep an eye out for an extra ticket for me. If there's a good price for a pair of tickets on ebay, do you want me to grab one for you? The "face value" is 80 pounds, (I know that the Cambridge resident card holder price was cheaper, but those don't seem to be coming up on ebay), how much are you willing to pay?

That was my approach eight or nine years ago, too but the price has really gone up since then so it should be worth my while.

As I won't be able to make all of it now (going to REading on the Saturday), not that much. I'd jump if someone can't make it and sell theirs at face value.

Sheesh, they *are* expensive. Maybe in future years I should buy two extra tickets and ebay them to cover my own ticket price! (Just kidding, it p*sses me off royally when people buy tickets they don't intend to use just to try to turn a profit.) I'll keep an eye on the work noticeboard - we sometimes have tickets come up at face value in the few days beforehand.

I may be able to lay my hands on a normal-priced ticket (rank hath its priviledges and all that). I'll let you know by tomorrow lunchtime.

Not, unfortunately. There are no tickets left from the organisers, not even the ones they keep back for emergencies (like councillors who utterly cannot get their act together :-)

... I knew it was a long shot, but I do appreciate you checking for me ...

... the ticket I was bidding for on ebay just went up to 150 pounds, my maximum bid was 90 ... back to scanning the bulletin boards and asking around! Worse comes to worse, I'll be outside the ticket tent on the Friday afternoon trying to mug someone for a spare ticket ... :-)
