Ever realized how powerful and invigorating a simple smile can be? If you haven't, you be surprised. I wake with one every morning and it makes the day go by much more smoothly. You are one of the few to whom I feel wholly comfortable being spontaneous like this.

I am sure you understand that I do it "in the moment".

I know that you can appreciate it for the poetic qualities, as well as the inspiring aspects -- it has been so long since I have written uplifting poetry, and your writings lately seem to inspire it (or are at least a good catalyst).

Poems don't have to be epics to be effective.
