I freaking hate this weather.  It took me 10 minutes to get enough ice off of my car for me to see through a 1'x1' hole in my windshield, and it's looking like tomorrow is going to be even worse, because I'll have three inches of snow frozen over top of the ice.  I can't go anywhere because the roads are too slick, and it is so freaking cold in my ( Read more... )

I'm with you. I don't miss it a bit. My poor papa left Ohio at 4am this morning to start the three day drive to AZ. He's driven through like three snow storms already and has seen countless cars and trucks in ditches, so on. It's crazy!

HA! Sorry for interrupting here, but at the moment I am snowed in and I AM LOVING IT! :D It is helping with my funk right now. *nods* I'm sorry you were going through so much discomfort, but I just had to let you know that I am enjoying the snow and ice and COLD weather! I LOVE IT! xD

Haha. I'm glad someone is able to appreciate it. It is really beautiful, especially when it is the big clumps of snow and everything is quiet and perfect. I just have a hard time remembering this when I'm wet and cold and can't get to where I need to be. Enjoy your snowed-in time! (Isn't that odd for NC?) I had heard there were ice storms, so I hope that while the beauty remains, the bad conditions go away.

It's odd in the mid and eastern sections. The western/mountain area gets it regularly.
It is beautiful and quiet and Godly. And I do know what you mean when you have to get out in it. Fortunately the past 2 and a half days have been quiet in my house. :) Going out to just sit in it was the highlight of my weekend. *g*
There is ice in most places, and school has already been canceled for tomorrow, but I don't know yet what work will say. I am hoping they won't be stupid and make us come in. *nods*

I just pictured you going out and sitting in a snow drift. :P Amazing.

I hope they don't make you go out either! We're so used to it in Pittsburgh that my work place won't cancel ever. There would have to be a catastrophe for them to close. But that's life. I can't wait to move to Baltimore though, with a bit more mild weather.
