Hey guys, look who's back.

Moegami had been enjoying his freedom the last few months, as it seemed the hotel had saw it fit to send him back home for a while. However, when he awoke this morning, he found himself surrounded by familiar red claustrophobic rooms that were far to small for the phoenix to spread his wings in. Sighing, he simply left his room and headed for the ( Read more... )

I have no resistance for Okami characters. B| wetsitardork June 15 2009, 19:24:02 UTC
Demyx had yet to determine exactly what had possessed him to go to the food court this earlier in the morning afternoon. He was by no means an early riser - quite the opposite in fact. So it remained to be seen exactly what he was doing up so early. But the fact remained that he was up, and there was a rather delectable plate of sushi in front of him that thus far had remained untouched. The blond seemed much more keen on sipping at his coffee than the food. (And no matter how much he held a distaste for the caffeinated drink, he needed it right now.)

I totally need to bring Moe around more often. chicken_phoenix June 15 2009, 20:30:45 UTC
Getting a plate of smoked salmon for himself, Moegami flopped unceremoniously into a chair with a sigh of exasperation. Coming back here was the last thing he'd wanted to happen, but this place had a habit of doing the exact opposite of what its prisoners wanted.

Clapping his hands together in a quick prayer to Mother (whom he hadn't seen in a while, come to think of it), he got to work at his salmon, silently grateful for one thing this place had; decent food.

You do. YOU'RE MAKING ME WANT TO BRING OUT MY AMMY. D8 wetsitardork June 15 2009, 20:44:22 UTC
The smell of smoked salmon quickly caught Demyx's attention, and after a long moment he turned towards Moegami curiously. He had to admit, the other had good taste if what he'd ordered was any indication. After a long moment of silence, he finally decided that sitting here staring at his food wasn't going to do him any good... So he bagged it up to be eaten later and stretched absently.

"Is the salmon any good?"

Heh. We used to have almost the entire cast, but they all went away. chicken_phoenix June 15 2009, 21:04:39 UTC
The fire god shrugged, taking another bite. "It's pretty good." He admitted, finishing half the dish before offering the other half to his momentary companion. "I'm not really that hungry right now, though. You can have it."

Food courts were also the best places to be for an ambush. Not that it was really much of an ambush, but more like her simply sneaking up behind him and pressing her nose to the back of his knee and huffing.

Blinking, Moegami turned to look at what had decided to bump him and a wide smile spread across his face. "There you are, Mother." He greeted her, kneeling and scratching her behind her ears.

Her tail wagged, and she made a happy grumbling sound in her throat as she leaned into the scratching. She'd missed her son since she'd last seen him, which of course meant one thing.

It was definitely facewashing time. Planting one paw on his knee, she stretched to lick his face, her cold wet nose smearing his chin and cheek.

Moegami laughed, hugging her tightly. "Great to see you, too, Mother. Have you been well?"

Have a Cyuss~! striped_biceps June 16 2009, 05:53:31 UTC
Cyuss wandered to the food court as well. It had actually been two days since he'd eaten, and even longer since he'd had something real to drink. That's when he noticed Moegami.

"You look like you know your way around. Where can I find something to drink around here?" He shrugged and smiled, his sword strapped to back still.

Hm, this person must be new. "I'm actually on my way to the food court now. There's a bar near there, I could show you."

"Yeah! A bar'd be great." It hadn't been long since he figured out the purpose of this place, and he needed to figure out a way to forget what he had just learned.

Nodding, Moegami gestured for the man to follow him as he continued his trek to the food court. Once there, he pointed out a door to the side that was decorated with ornate designs.

"Bar's through there. They've got some food in there, too, but it's not as good as the stuff they serve out here."
