It felt good to see the hotel back to red and spot the erotic pictures on the walls in his room. The last week had been boring and remarkably chase save for one frantic session with himself in the shower. Kia woke up, fully expecting to have just another boring day here, even if things with Ran were almost back to normal now

As luck would have it, Ken had finally emerged from his room to take a walk. He'd gotten bored with hiding and had figured he would be able to survive this place. Well, so maybe he was being a little over optimistic, but you can't fault him for trying.

It took him a moment to recognize the grayish haired man in front of him.

"Oy! Kia!" He said, jogging over to him with a smile. "Whats up?"

Kia had liked hanging out with and trying (read: failing) to do more with Ken than just touches when they'd had amusing animal features to stimulate. Maybe he'd have more luck today when there wasn't that weird thing affecting them both.

He smiled and gestured at the flowers in his arms. "Someone left these by my door. I'm trying to figure out why, though. Usually I end up sending people flowers, not getting them."

Ken raised an eye brow. "Flowers hey? Definitely a professional job." He said knowledgeably as he eyed the bouquet. He laughed and looked at Kia. "Don't think I mentioned that I'm a florist did I." He said, rubbing the back of his head.

"Wasn't exactly my first choice of jobs, but its not bad work."

"You didn't mention it, but Ran told me that he's one and since you two know each other, it's not too weird that you're the same." Kia smiled and decided against his theory that Ran had made the bouquet. It wasn't as if he'd been with anyone else often enough to deserve the present.

He leaned against the wall for a moment.

Ran was on his way back from the gym he had found, his sheathed sword in his hand as when he came across Kia. The redhead stopped, noticing what was being carried instantly- since he was the one who had put it together in a sudden flight of impulse.

Kia was ahead of him, heading down the hallway Ran had just turned into. Whether the other man felt the heavy weight of Ran's violet eye's on his back or not was yet to be seen, but it was definitely present. Darker, with an edge of something... Ran had been feeling odd all day, in truth. He'd gone at his katas with more aggression than usual and he still couldn't seem to shake the tense feeling. Maybe it was because he hadn't gone on a mission in so long.

He felt someone looking at him, that much was certain, but Kia didn't know who it was. He turned around slowly and grinned at Ran. What a nice surprise.

"Ran!" he called out, trying to get his attention so he could wonder about the flowers in his arms.

He tilted his chin up, a small greeting of the Ran variety. His eyes fell again to the arrangement and with some inner satisfaction he noted that the flowers hadn't shifted much at all. Positioning had meaning all to itself on top of what the blooms said.

"Kia," Ran replied. "Making a delivery?"

Kia shook his head. "Someone left these for me on my door. I don't know who, or why they chose what they did. Actually, I was looking for you or Ken to help me with that."

He kept smiling, glad to see the redhead after a week lacking his presence.

Alto wrinkled up his nose when he turned down the corridor, noticing a smell in the air that was different from the usual aphrodisiac. Looking around, it didn't take him long to notice the blond with the huge bouquet in his hands. Alto raised an eyebrow, amused.

"Somebody got you flowers?"

Kia's hair is grey, not blond

He gave a typical friendly smile to the new face, nodded, and touched one of the white roses, curious to figure out their meaning. Kia stayed where he was to talk to him better.

"Yeah. Someone left them in front of my door. I don't know who or why."

"How many people here will remember your room and give you flowers?" He leaned in to take a closer look, unfamiliar with the Western choice of flower arrangement. It seemed rather... complicated, somehow, compared to the more minimalist style of ikebana that Alto was used to.

"There are a few possibilities," he said with a grin. Ran might have been the most likely option, but that didn't completely rule out other people being responsible.

Kia let the new face look at his present and looked him over quietly. New people could be just what he needed to keep his mind off of confusing things.
