It took him a moment to recognize the grayish haired man in front of him.
"Oy! Kia!" He said, jogging over to him with a smile. "Whats up?"

He smiled and gestured at the flowers in his arms. "Someone left these by my door. I'm trying to figure out why, though. Usually I end up sending people flowers, not getting them."

Kia was ahead of him, heading down the hallway Ran had just turned into. Whether the other man felt the heavy weight of Ran's violet eye's on his back or not was yet to be seen, but it was definitely present. Darker, with an edge of something... Ran had been feeling odd all day, in truth. He'd gone at his katas with more aggression than usual and he still couldn't seem to shake the tense feeling. Maybe it was because he hadn't gone on a mission in so long.
