It was the familiar tension that came in the moments just before the clothes came off and the bodies made contact, and it was one of his favorite moments in the whole act, if he was being honest-- those tiny moments

Incidentally, this lull was exactly what Archimedes hated. Tension wracked him as the door clicked shut, his hands trembling in spite of his own attempts to maintain composure as he fumbled off his trenchcoat.

"Y-yes..." he said, glancing over his shoulder at Maxi but hesitating to meet his gaze. "I've made up my mind. It doesn't seem right, but I want it..." Biting his lower lip, he searched for something else to say, something that would make this feel less awkward. Nothing, of course. Could you be any more clumsy about this? he thought. You're acting like a goddamn schoolboy. Pull yourself together.

Yeah, he was getting the feeling this might have been a first for the guy. It was all in the way he was carrying himself, looking like somebody was about to scold him if they caught him in here.

"Hey, you know what I always say? Why worry about if it's right or not if it's what feels good? Nothing wrong with sharing good company with a man," he said casually.

He nodded, turning to face the other man. It seemed that there was no use trying to hide his nervousness any longer.

"You're right," he said, forcing himself to sound more casual. "I'm sorry. I suppose I'm just not used to this..." He laughed quietly, more from embarrassment than amusement. "Though that's already pretty obvious."

Akihito normally didn't go to anyone's bed willingly. This also could be considered one of those times since he was being forced into it to settle a debt. Akihito often wondered why his debts always ended up with him naked and in some strange man's bed. He was growing a little tired of those kinds of arrangements.

"You say that like I actually have a choice. It's not like I can actually pay off the debt the normal way." Akihito was broke and all his attempts at securing an honest job had failed. If it weren't for bad luck, Akihito wouldn't have any at all.
