The holidays can be busy, and the stress of the season (especially in a place like this!) can make it easy to overlook little details.  Like perhaps not noticing the spring of mistletoe in the doorway.  Which you obviously must have done at SOME point in the holidays whether you realized it or not.  Because you have managed to enrage a mistletoe

Of course, Ranka hadn't thought much of mistletoe. It was the holidays after all, and there wasn't anyone as important as Alto or Sheryl to get under it with, so she'd mostly disregarded it. She was singing quietly to herself, moving from Christmas song to Christmas song at a whim, not really looking where she was going as she walked through the halls.

Sungjong was just casually walking through the halls. It seemed like he couldn't stick to one room. So he liked to go from room to room, satisfying his curiosity. He never took notice of the mistletoe in the halls, though. He was too preoccupied with other things. However, he was a bit tired of walking around and getting only locked doors. He decided to sit in the hall and rest for a bit, unaware that he was being watched.

Ellis was still new to all of the craziness that was the hotel, its shenanigans and the creatures that lurked inside of it. But he was not unfamiliar to any of those things seperately. Making his way through the halls, he was of course armed with a piece of piping he had managed to scavenge up. No guns yet that he could find. He was unaware of what was waiting for him as he rounded a corner.

Serenity had been a bit bad with noticing the mistletoe this Christmas, well unless someone else had and taken advantage of it. She didn't see the point for the silly plant, half the people in this hotel would just kiss the person they wanted, and do more. So why did they need mistletoe?

Smoothing her dress as she turned the corner Serenity was lost in her own thoughts, not noticing her surroundings.

Chizuru, for her part, had almost made a point of ignoring the misteltoe. It wasn't as though it was a common sort of plant in Japan, even more than Christmas was an uncommon sort of holiday. The springs that appeared over doorways and entranceways were brushed aside without a thought.

It seemed as though she'd found a clear hallway without any of the plants. Honestly, it was almost a relief to escape this Christmas hell, if only for a few moments.
