She supposed stranger things have happened.

Though, to be quite honest, such a statement could be considered the biggest lie Mexico had ever conceived. But she figured it was good enough to keep her relatively calm the more she walked and tentatively explored the rather large and expansive hotel she currently found herself in. Or rather, the hotel ( Read more... )

After a while one hallway looked just like another, and even floating above the floor got tiring. Black Lady was on her feet now, walking very slowly a long as she tried in vain to fine the elevators. She hadn't eaten anything in a few hours, which left her cranky, hungry and tired. It didn't help that annoying heat was working its way into her system. Screw it all, she was going to teleport even if it did take her somewhere completely random!

And so it did, depositing her a feet feet behind the other young woman. The problem was she appeared at an angle, and immediately fell down on her rear with an annoyed squeak. Black Lady growled and reached up to push the hair from her face, still unaware she wasn't alone. "Dammit!"

She had been all but ready to just slump against the wall, curl up on the floor, and give up until someone eventually found her when a sudden irritated yell caused Mexico to jump up to attention. Body tense, she glanced toward the rather interesting looking woman with a wary expression, dark eyes taking in her rather unique hairstyle and color for a moment as she silently debated with herself.

Would calling attention to herself be a good idea? Because it seemed as though the other woman had yet to really notice her, judging by her rather unamused and distracted expression. Or would sneaking of be better? But, what if the other woman noticed her doing that?

Exhaling shakily, Mexico stood up straighter and cleared her throat. "Excuse me?" She began, tone both wary and seemingly sheepish. "I'm sorry, but...do you happen to know where we are?"

Black Lady had sensed someone was nearby, but since there wasn't any potent source of magical energy she hadn't been concerned about it. Someone was there, big deal, there were people everywhere. The least they could have done was help her up. Which was what she was about to say when she finally heard a female voice speaking to her. Lifting her head, she focused with her crimson eyes on the person standing there.

"Looks like a hallway," she replied, pulling herself to her feet. No harm done, she was uninjured but still perturbed. Taking a quick glance around, she folded her arms just below her chest and shook her head. It looked like the hall she'd just left. "Wait, did you just wake up here or something?"

There was a brief moment where the young nation had to fight back the urge to snap at the woman, to roll her eyes and point out that she did, in fact, know that they were in a hallway. But she refrained, instead opting to tuck back the long strands of hair that had escaped her now non-existent braid as she breathed out, steadying herself. Eyes focused on the other woman, she eventually nodded, making a quiet noise.

"I....I did. But, how did you know that I just woke up? I don't even know where I am or if anyone I know is even here."

America really did not want to be stuck here right now. Not at this time of year anyway. This was when everything was supposed to happy and fun! Not...this! But beggars can't be choosers he supposed. As such he was currently looking for another place to hold himself down again. Wordlessly he turned down a hallway to spot a familiar sight. Grinning a little and waving at the other nation as she drew her head back.

"Hey! Hey Mexico!"

The uncomfortable warmth licking at her skin had left Mexico distracted, brow furrowed as she stared up at the ceiling, thoughts still on trying to figure out where she was and how to get out when she was suddenly startled. Head snapping up, she looked around, expression wary and unsure before her eyes landed on an oh too familiar face.

Unsure for a quick moment, she waved back cautiously. "....America?"

"Hahaha! Yep, it's me!" It's been a while since he was able to last talk to her...okay maybe not a while. But long enough for him to look like he's seen someone that he hasn't seen in two years. Still, it was a little unsettling to know that she was here. To him no one that he's close to, not even Mexico, should be stuck here. And yet here she was, so he may as well act as a friendly neighbor.

"Do you know where we are?" She immediately asked, stepping away from the wall to move in closer to the blonde, somehow finding a miniscule sense of comfort in being close to the obnoxious nation. Brushing aside her bangs nervously, she glanced around, still seeing nothing out of the ordinary (save for the entire situation itself, of course). Biting her lip and not waiting for the blonde to answer right away, Mexico carried on.

"Because I just woke up here and I wasn't sure where I was, y pues, I knew this wasn't something associated with a meeting because I would remember since I'm not you," She continued, tone near frantic. "But then I couldn't find my way out and....what is going on?"
