Larxene had had enough. Enough of the never-ending red she once thought better than the never-ending white of Castle Oblivion; enough of that sickly sweet smell that was everywhere; enough of hearing the noises coming from the rooms surrounding hers. Just...enough.

So when he caught her there, practically in that room made for torture already, he wasted no time in simply shoving her forward into it. Really, it was times like this that he couldn't thank old man Fuyumine enough for having trained him. Being able to move so quickly, so quietly while following people was just too useful. Unfortunately for him, she had other plans. She flicked her eyes to the closed door then back to him before answering. "Nope. Looks like you're going to have to find someone else to play with." It seemed Larxene was underestimating his speed, though, or overestimating her own. Either way, she was in for a surprise when he let her dash past him, at the cost of a slight injury. A grazing wound, really. He'd drawn a knife and held it out far enough to cut Larxene in the side as she passed. She was going to find a new challenge in moving. It also had the fun side effect of making her more sensitive as well. He turned to look at her in the hallway.
"I think I'll keep you, actually. You sound like you'd be fun to play with for a little while."

Stumbled? What the hell was going on? Why did she suddenly feel heavy? Like her whole body, and not just her foot, was asleep. Her knives clattered to the floor before disappearing, and she had to use all of her will and strength just to stand. Glaring at him, she hissed through her teeth, "What did you do?"
