It had been difficult for the pink-haired sprite over the past few weeks, but finally after hours of hard work and pushing, it was all over.

For now, Mesprit had taken residence in her bed, still recovering her lost strength after a rapid nearly-two-month pregnancy and hours of sheer torture on her human forme of a body, but the fruit of her labor

Well, that was frighteningly quick, wasn't it? At least it all seemed to work out for mother and child after all of the pain Mesprit went through. No colossal bouts of weirdness, other than a rapid pregnancy, just a birth like that of any human. A little girl, as it turned out. She wouldn't be surprised if she turned out to be human.

Quietly, she pushes the door open, and greets her family with a smile. "Hey, love. How're you coping right now?"

It was nice to see Faye's face once again, especially with their daughter making it three in their little family. The exhaustion of the labor and delivery caused her to pass out for at least several hours before she was awake and well enough to finally hold the child and feed her on her own.

"Faye... I'm so happy to see you!" Mesprit wanted to shout happily, but a soft, welcoming murmur surrounded by a light-pink blush would have to do for now. "I've felt better, but... the pain... it was completely worth it." Her gaze went from the vampire to their daughter cradled safely in her arms. "Would you like to hold her?"

The vampire pulls up a chair and sits beside mother and baby. She's looking a little overwhelmed by it all. "I never thought I'd have a kid... I'm sterile. Well, normally."

It soon registers on her just what the sprite said. "Hold her? Um... okay."

Mesprit can feel the disbelief emanating from her wife as she joins her side. It is hard to believe in a place like this sex-filled hotel that two usually infertile beings could bring life into the world, but then again, she had a friend of hers that was pregnant, so at least it's not completely out of the ordinary. "I am too... at least back in Sinnoh; mostly all of us Legendaries are. Still, it was... whew, quite the emotional and physical experience."

Was Faye nervous about holding their daughter? The shock of it all must still be bothering her, she thought. And who could blame her? "Don't worry. As long as you're gentle with her, things should be alright." Mesprit smiled, carefully moving the child carefully into the vampire's hands. "The nurses reminded me to make sure to hold her head."
