In one of the Hotel's long corridors, a rather tiny, small-boned boy is tip toeing close to the walls. Slinking and fluid, even graceful, in his movements. A pair of triangle shaped ears stand upright in his hair, keeping focused for the most part ahead of himself, but every now and then, they rove toward noises he can hear coming from the bedrooms

Startled felines do not always have the best judgement, their minds tend to lock themselves into a state of flight or fight. They're geared and equipped for survival, and some of the most resilient creatures in the animal kingdom. If Ciel had been thinking more clearly, he would have realized much more quickly--more quickly than Sebastian having to bring himself for the boy-cat to see--that this is Sebastian's claimed room. He would have, should be able, to depict the scent that separated Sebastian from not only other people, but other things, quite effortlessly ( ... )

Walking quietly into her room, Misa slowly kneels down and peeks under the bed, surprised to see a familiar face.
"Ciel?"

Ciel is equally surprised to see hers, though because of unfamiliarity. Those little cat ears atop his head press into his hair, doubtfully.
"Who are you?" The suspicion might make his voice sound harder than he intends to be, but one can never be too careful, especially in this place.

Standing up, Misa shuts and locks the door. After all, he must have been scared by something. She didn't want anyone back bursting in and trying to hurt him.
"I met another version of you before. I thought you might be him and that the hotel had put cat years on you, but you must be a different one."
Turning around, she gets on the floor once more to peer under the bed with a soft, friendly smile.
"You must have been frightened. Don't worry, if anyone tries to come in here for you, I'll taker care of them."
((ooc: That's okay! :) Also, I read that doujin and it was AWESOME. :3 ))

It takes the boy a couple of moments, but then cautiously he brings his head from under the bed. The motion is extremely cat-like, because he doesn't crawl out entirely just yet, instead he peers around her room intently, studying it. Ears flicking to any noise of interest, even ones she may not be able to hear herself.
Then, slowly, steadily, he shimmies out from beneath his make-shift hiding place. Sighing, quietly flustered, he moves to stand and brushes at his clothing. "I see. I suppose that's part of the trouble with so many different versions of ourselves running about."
He looks up at her. "Thank you, miss Misa."

Following a good yawn and stretch he goes to the edge of the bed to peer under it.
Hey kid, you ok?

It's more the scent of him, another cat in the room with him, that startles Ciel--causes him to flinch--than it is actually hearing him. His face twitches immediately upward to stare back at him, black pupil trying to engulf his entire blue iris. His tail puffed and whacking itself against the carpet.
"Wh-- Another cat?"

Only half the time, if we're gonna get technical. Wow, this one's really agitated. Frank opts to back away and resume lounging on his bed. If Ciel wanted to calm down and come out, then he would.
You rather I not be?

Don't cats tend to be some of the most melodramatic creatures about things? There's a chance he could stay under there for only a few minutes or hours all because of a door opening and that's it. Though, yes, he isn't quite ready to come out--his heart is still trying to fight its way through his little chest.
Frank doesn't receive the quickest reply either, because the kitten is too busy settling in place, curling his tail around himself, and licking his whiskers.
"No, I much prefer it. I've never come across any others, until now; you." A beat. "What do you mean 'only half the time'?"
