...Erk. Alph had really been hoping he'd get away with this, as dishonest as it was. It wasn't like he'd set out to cheat on Mintsuki, he'd just had one too many to drink, blacked out, and woke up in the wrong bed.

As it was, he worse the abuse, not stopping her or dodging when she hit him. He deserved worse, really - for all her spit and fire, she was loving when he treated her properly, and the fact she was giving him a ghost of a chance to make it up was maybe more than he deserved.

"I don't even know who it was," he told her when she stopped for breath. "It meant nothing, so I don't even remember."

"You slept with a complete stranger? You didn't even know her!?" She asked as she clenched her hands into fists. Oh she wanted to hit him again and again until he begged for her to stop.

But she was more hurt and depressed than angry. If it was a stranger, at least he wouldn't go back to her, right? But if he slept with a stranger, then that meant he may sleep with another and then another!

"Aren't you even remotely worried about the consequences? You could have ended up getting that so called stranger pregnant! Then what would you have done?"

The fact she was hurt more than pissed was a mixed blessing. At least it was giving him this chance to redeem himself, even if it did make him feel low.

Well, he would have felt like that anyway. Cheating was one of the things he despised, and he wasn't below despising himself for breaking his own taboo.

"I didn't even mean for it to happen," he said. "I just had one too many to drink and lost track of things. I didn't even realize what was happening until the next day." After a moment he added, "And it's not something I'm proud of, on any level. Or something I'll do again."

"You know... That night when you were out, I had dinner waiting. Yeah I may have burnt it a little because I'm not used to cooking, but it's the thought that counts, i-isn't it?" She asked and stared at the ground.

"Anyways, I had dinner waiting for you and waiting... I stayed up waiting for you. But you never came home. So I fell asleep on the couch. I even had a really bad fuckin' nightmare that you got into an accident and died!"

Jin winced at the slap, rubbing his cheek where his petite girlfriend, if she could be called that anymore, had smacked him. He adjusted his glasses and avoided her angry gaze, he had been drunk and one thing had led to another and the girl had given him head in the bathroom of the bar.

"Sorry." He said quietly, he was ashamed of his actions and knew that apologizing wasn't going to be enough.

"Sorry..." She bit down upon her lower lip. Her eyes hit the ground.

She remained quiet for a few seconds before she cracked up into a fit of bitter laughter.

"I-Is that really all you have to say for yourself!? Don't I at least get an explanation!?!? Don't I deserve that much from you!?"

"Yeah..." He said, looking at her. "I was drunk, I never learned her name and she meant nothing to me. If it's any consolation, we didn't actually have sex."

If it wasn't the slap, then it was the cold words that pierced his heart more. Masao still felt his cheek sting red as he was trying to remember the situation... Certainly, he recalled having a little drink... But after that, he woke up with another woman. But still, his heart belonged to his girlfriend and only his girlfriend.

There's a gleam to his glasses as he looks down at the floor. "Mina-chan... I'm sorry, but... I should've been more aware of my surroundings whenever it happened."

"I still can't believe you did that! You get upset with me when I even look at other guys and you pull this again! I've been nothing but faithful to you. Hell I even learned to cook for you and this is what I get in return!"

She pointed a finger at him accusingly.

"I want you to stop with the damn alcohol!"

"I-I'm sorry, I--" Wait a minute. Hold on... He had always thought that she was a natural cook at heart, but this was new information that had shocked him.

"... You seriously learned how to cook for me?" His girlfriend gotten a thousand times cuter after hearing that once.

She blinked and locked eyes with him for a moment before blushing and looking away. "Y-Yeah. In the beginning I kept burning stuff though." She admitted and scratched her head.

"I didn't mean to and I tried to time everything perfectly. At first I thought the oven was possessed but then I realized that the damn oven timer's batteries were running low which made the thing run slower than normal and that's why I burnt stuff." She said and her hands dropped to her sides.

She stared at the ground a bit embarrassed.

She usually never raised a hand to Lucy. She knew better than to challenge her physically because she knew what she was capable of. Sure Minatsuki had her whip-wing, but Lucy was much stronger than her and to go up against her would basically be a death wish in the making. Yet the smaller girl couldn't help herself and that was why she struck her.

She wanted to keep screaming at her until her voice went hoarse, but that wouldn't do any good. She knew that much. It would only make her feel ill if she did that and she didn't feel like having a sore throat for the remainder of the evening.

So instead of continuing to scream at her, she grew quiet except for the clicking of her tongue ring. She usually moved her tongue back and forth in her mouth which made a small clicking sound against her teeth when she did. "Then go on." She finally told Lucy in a monotone yet soft spoken voice as she folded her arms over her chest.

That explanation was like a punch to the gut. Two actually. One for going off on her when she didn't know the entire truth about the situation and the other being that someone had hurt the person whom she treasured the most. Minatsuki's face went blank. It was expressionless for a minute or two before anger washed over it. She glared at the ground.

"I'll fucking kill her." She muttered to herself, though her words were loud enough to hear. "I'm gonna kill that bitch!" She snarled as she kept gripping her hands into fists. Her short cut nails dug into the palms of her hands and made tiny gashes in her skin. Her breathing started to become erratic and a few drops of blood fell onto the ground.

"I'll shove one of my boots so far up that bitches ass she'll be tasting my fucking shoelaces!" When she finally looked up at her lover, her eyes were filled with tears. She was mentally kicking herself for not being there at her side to protect her from that slutbag of a woman.

Na, she wouldn't go as far as removing his dick from his body. Or perhaps she would? What was true though is if he pushed her enough, she'd use her powers as a Deadman which was whip wing to beat the hell out of him.

She glared up at him. "Then what the hell did you do!?"
