They had been invited to one of their friend's costume parties. She'd certainly had every intention of getting a more original costume to wear for it, but because of her working double shifts at the hospital that hadn't ended up happening. Instead she'd been left with the choice between a clown, cat, or nurse

She accepted the leash with a slight smirk. She gave him an impish smile then, moving closer to kiss his cheek. Suddenly the loss of the cat costume seemed a blessing, since a cat leading a fox didn't make much sense.

"I'm glad you like it. Yours turned out really nice too..." Her free hand sought out one of his for a moment. leaning over a little to give the blond a teasing, heavy lidded look. "Guess this puts me in charge tonight, hm?"

Her smile just grew in affection at Naruto's tactile gesture, though what he said next did get her face turning an interesting shade of red. Her eyes crinkled a bit with the mischieveous look in them while feigning ignorance.

"Looking at you like what?"

The look persisted, she was certainly in rare form at the moment, to be egging him on when they had somewhere to be.

He really had no idea what it was that she was going to go dressed as, but he himself had picked to go as a vampire. The costume wasn’t too extravagant, but he thought it looked nice on him. He’d even applied a bit of makeup to himself look pale. After he had tied on his cape and checked himself out in the bathroom mirror, he walked out into the living room. It was there that he stood to wait for Sakura to finally come out. But when it seemed to be drawing ever closer to the time for the party to start, he called out for her.

He checked his watch one last time as she came out. “It’s alright, Sakura. But we need to-“ He paused when he finally noticed her cause. She did work in a hospital, but he never saw her in a traditional Nurse outfit like that. Especially not one in that color.

“Sakura..” The expression that he had on his face right now should have done well to tell her just how much he liked what she had on right now.

Well, judging by his reaction at least it was still a surprise. She'd been worried that it would come across as predictable, but when she really thought about it anyone that knew her would never expect for her to show up as the sexy nurse.

And also, it was official: Minato definitely looked good in any sort of cape or full body coat. Even looking paler than usual he made a drop dead gorgeous vampire. Lestat would be rolling in his grave in jealousy if A.) He were real, and B.) He HAD a grave.

She smiled, somehow managing the expression to be both sweet and suggestive at once.

"Minato, if you keep looking at me like that you're gonna make me blush."

Sakura's tone suggested that she didn't actually mind in the least, closing the distance between them and reaching up to trace her hands along each side of his cape's edges.

"A nurse and a vampire, hm? At least the costume is a fitting color, then." Blood red, maybe she could be considered his supplier.

A smart would definitely had a supplier, so their costumes did indeed go well together. But that was hardly on his mind right now. He still couldn’t get over how great Sakura looked in her costume. Not staring at her was going to be a bit difficult to do.

“I’m sorry, Sakura. But you hardly gave me time to prepare for how amazing you look right now.” He strolled over to her, his cape flowing a little bit behind him. Suddenly, being late really didn’t seem to bother him at all. “I think a nurse and a vampire would make a fitting pair, don’t you?” He said as he smiled.

“I don’t think a creature of the night such as myself could ever pass on the chance to have a nurse like you all to myself.” He reached over to her grasped her hand gently with his own.

If her expressions were any indicator then Sakura certainly appreciated the attention. She let him take her hand and smiled as he gave it a squeeze, stepping in closer.

"I think I can let that slide seeing as you have a good reason." She playfully quipped, adding onto that statement with an upward gaze into deep blue eyes. "A vampire and his nurse? Hm, I think so. One way or another she'd be able to give him just what he needs... hm...?"

As she said so Sakura's free hand slipped past his cape and slid against his side, body pressing in even closer until it was in direct contact with Minato's and adding light pressure to a particular location on his person. Her look was impish. She probably didn't mean blood, by what she said.
