Your super-freaky babysitter ♥ Aphro level variable

When you were fifteen or sixteen and your parents still insisted on getting you a babysitter for the night, either they were super over protective, or you were just a plain trouble maker.  But whatever the reason there weren't many sitters around willing to watch someone in their teens.  It was just plain ridiculous.  Erika, however, was more then ( Read more... )

Erk had never been entirely sure why his parents (well, foster-parents, but he just called them his parents anyway, considering how little relationship he had with his biological ones) had always insisted on getting him a babysitter even now. They doted on him, yes, but they'd never seemed to lack any confidence in him apart from this little quirk.

Either way, here he was, alone in the house with her again. It was ridiculous, really - she wasn't more than a couple of years older than him. And he certainly hadn't missed the looks she gave him, even if he pretended to be oblivious, more for the sake of his own sanity than anything. He flushed a little as she smiled at him now, glancing down. "I... suppose I couldn't really say."

[ Hope wasn't a misbehaved child by any means, but he was kind of a momma's boy, and his parents didn't discourage that in the least. Their little ray of hope, they always said. So they were obviously very protective. He didn't object, didn't see the point in arguing. Wouldn't they know best? Usually?

Sizing up Erika with a look of supposed disinterest, he shyly shook her hand, and then his parents were gone. There was a silence that felt almost choking to him when she began to smile like that, and then she spoke. He shrugged his shoulders a little awkwardly, hoping she couldn't see him blush. ]
