To Become a Ghost | IDEK | How does aphro even work in this case?

Souji's now free-floating spirit hovers in the hallway, Souji using all his newfound ghostly willpower to close the door to the room containing his body. Thanks to an incident with the hotel's "new layout" this week, the shower, a broken mirror, and some really bad luck, his mortal shell was currently missing its head, and the room had a fresh new ( Read more... )

Well, that's just great.

Konoka, was conscious again, but refused to open her eyes. She'd been out of the hotel for a good respite before being pulled back in, instantly aware of her memories, and the strange and exciting dread. From the odd feeling in her stomach, she knew it was that time of year again, where her demon powers start getting hyper sensitive, and her curiosity and penchant for mischief flare up stronger than they normally would.

But she didn't want to deal with that just yet, so she curled up back on the couch and tried to will her temptations away, and hopefully that odd presence she's sensing will just let her (pretend to) sleep for five more minutes.

((Because I always like new stuff, so feel free to experiment. Konoka likes gentle domination and such.))

((Gentle dom is definitely something this guy can do.))

Sorry, Konoka, but Souji's dead and has lots of questions, and judging from the horns and tail you might have some insight on the situation in addition to your considerable physical assets.

Like, say, hands.

Souji's transparent gray form drifts over towards the demon girl, silently. He hasn't tried to see if the living can hear or see him yet, so he figures now is a good time to start. Especially since the young woman is pretty obviously not actually sleeping.

"Excuse me, miss. Don't mean to be a bother, but I think I just died," Souji summarizes as best he can. "Do you think you could lend me a hand?"

Konoka wanted to pout. Whatever she sensed, it not only felt her, but decided to go bother her anyway.

Rising slowly, she was going to greet him as pleasantly as she normally could--however, she found that she was staring at a ghost. Even without being a demon, Konoka had no fear of ghosts, thanks to Sayo of her class three years ago, and being the ruler of a place that often received magical spirits now. She rose, crossing her arms under her generous chest. Her white tail was on alert now, wiggling slowly and slightly.

"Just died?" However, the manner of his appearance gave her concern. "How did you die?"

"You know those American horror movies with the accidents?" Souji asks, not really doubting that someone who was probably from another plane of existence in this place would get the reference. "Like that but more embarrassing."

He shrugs off thinking about it. It was quick enough it had hurt significantly less than most other injuries he'd taken in his lifetime, and he's highly confident that there was some means of bodily resurrection in this place. There's everything else to do with the body, for one thing, and some of it even rhymed.

Mostly, death was just messy, and rather embarrassing to explain to a beautiful woman.

"Not the weirdest thing to happen to me here, but it's kind of tough to...do anything, really," he explains, relating his problem as simply as he can.

Meanwhile, somewhere on the same floor, Naoto was dealing with her own little poltergeists, using her Persona and a few spams of Mahamaon to get a nice distance around her. But she had been at it for a while, and as such, felt more than a little drained, much to her chagrin. "They just keep coming..." Wiping sweat from her brow with the back of her sleeve, Naoto moved down the hallway, trying to find a room that was relatively safe. Her tired eyes didn't register the ghost of her senpai up ahead, at least at first.

Wandering off from his barely-concealed accident scene, Souji hears the commotion down the hall. Rushing through the air with no concern for friction, he's quick to see that it's Naoto, fending off a horde of much less pleasant spirits. Being Souji (and also knowing how quickly exorcising things tires himself and Naoto out), there's only one real thing for him to do.

Suddenly, one of the ghosts around Naoto is charged and punched from behind by another ghost, Souji noting with great satisfaction that his spectral fists have no problem physically impacting other ghosts.

The punches don't actually do much in the way of "damage", but the ghostly form of Souji happily beats on the other vestiges to hopefully give them the idea of leaving this human alone.

Naoto is surprised to see a ghostly form suddenly seem to rebel and hit the other ghosts, but as her eyes refocus, she sees who it is, and her eyes go wide. "S-senpai...?!" The ghosts do indeed get the message and soon run away, leaving a hot and tired Naoto and ghostly Souji alone in the hallway. "Senpai, are you...?"

Souji finds himself feeling out of breath, which is an odd experience when you don't breathe.

"Yeah, it's...an embarrassing story," Souji admits. "I should be fine later, though."

"Are you alright?" he asks, changing the subject to something he finds much more pertinent as he floats a little dumbly in the hallway.
