The girl's shrinking away was a little disconcerting. The immediate thought was that he must have frightened her, for which he immediately looked apologetic.

"Hello. Sorry. I suppose I got a little over-zealous. The mood here is quite cheerful."

Despite the momentary let-down of his expression, he was back to a toothy grin very quickly. "Odd to think that we are in another building, ja? This place is very strange, I see."

Kurt stood up straight again, having stooped slightly in his greeting and subsequent apology. Introductions, apparently, were cause for good posture. The grin gentled down into more of a casual smile; the answer was simple enough.

"I am Kurt Wagner," he said, and held out his hand for the shaking. "And yourself?"

"Hello, yourself!" Dolly smiled at the male who greeted the group, as she flicked her braided hair over her shoulder with a pleasant grin. She then turned to the group and chided: "...stop staring! I'm sure your mothers didn't raise you in a barn!"
