Turning a corner, her was surprised to find someone else this far back, with the few others hovering near the entrance. It was only when he got closer and saw what she was reading that he realized what (he thought) she was doing.
"Ah, s-sorry! I'll leave you alone...!"

Chipperly making his way through the various halls and walkways, he was just strolling past the library when he noted a familiar face ducking into the shelves. Raising his eyebrows, he entered the room, footsteps silenced by the carpeted floor as he made his way to the same aisle as her, hands on his hips as he approached. For the moment, he hadn't even paid the book in her hand any attention.
"Hey! Figures I'd find you with your nose in a book."

Quistis's eyes went wide behind the cover of the book for a moment before she turned toward him, snapping it shut and hiding it behind her back. She tried her best to shove it back onto the shelf without looking, but it wasn't going so well. So instead she took a breath and tried to calm herself down, her chin lifted. "I wouldn't have expected to see you here."
Innocent. Completely innocent.

"It was sort of impromptu, you know? Figured I'd swing by, see how everyone's doing." Rubbing the back of his neck a bit, he tried to tilt his head enough to glance behind her, arching a brow. "What've you got there, anyway?"

"It's nothing. Something that shouldn't have been shelved here. I'll just go dispose of this." Except the only way out was to go passed him. Quistis curled her fingers against the book tighter and started to edge around him.
