Hao had been sitting in his room, looking into the fire. Smirking into it, as though he can see the very souls who he had burned to death. Katara was such a sweet, little girl; trying to save him by putting herself in danger. Guess, he would have to repay her back, then. Just as he was thinking of what, he heard her yell out to him in the main hall where the other loyal members of his team stayed. He let out a sigh, and waited for her to come in ( ... )

Hey? HEY? Was that really all he had to say to her after all of the shit he'd made her put up with and apologize for. Really, that was all he had to offer? He was more of a shitbrain than she thought! And that look he was giving her made her want to just slap him, and make him apologize.

"I think you owe me a serious apology, and all of those people that you hurt," she retorted, crossing the room to try and poke him in the chest. And if he didn't want to do that, then she'd drag him out of there herself and make him - some people had to be taught manners the hard way!

Pffft. Shaman king. Like that meant anything in the hotel! If she could, she could throw a huge fit about how she was a precious commodity, one of the few waterbenders left.. But it didn't matter here! And the sooner he realized that, the easier it would be.

"Come on. You're going to fix this mess!"

He blinked at the sudden demand for an apology, as he stood up, only to have her poke him on the chest. Blinking, he looked to her and smirked as he said, "Now, why would I do that? I have a reputation to consider, you know." Sure, he promised his twin brother he wouldn't kill humans when he became shaman king, and he hasn't killed any. Just seriously injured.

Hao moved her hand aside from his chest and said, "I won't be fixing anything. If you wish for an apology, give me a good reason why I should give one to you and those humans?" Last time he checked, he hasn't apologized to a human since he was a small boy, in his earlier life.

Of course, he knew she was going to tell him how she was taking the blame for him and stuff, but he just wanted to hear what she had to say. He usually never gave anyone the time of day, except for her and Opacho.

A reputation for assholery, it seemed. She wasn't even asking for him to do anything difficult, really. She'd already picked up any physical remnants of what he did; no, all she wanted him to say was two words: I'm sorry. Most people would consider it common courtesy and manners they taught when they were young. She felt like she was dealing with a child.

Poking him again, just because she could, Katara rolled her eyes at him, pointedly. There he went again, with his stupid supremacist views- ah, he reminded her of the Fire Nation people with that! Like he was too good to breathe the same air as her.

"I fixed all of this for you, and honestly if you weren't .. YOU, I wouldn't care. In fact, if you would apologize, I'd be willing to forget about it. But those people you hurt, and that stuff you destroyed .. that was just rude," she said, propping her hands on her hips and glaring. "And human or not, you did something wrong. So apologize."
