To the Spa - Hotsprings {Aphro to Taste}

Jul 24, 2011 03:32

Amelia had often marveled at the settings the hotel seemed to create on a whim. They were all very realistic, and to that end, she couldn't complain, particularly not at the moment. Not with the glow of the moon hovering ahead, the soft whisper of wind through the trees, or the wondrous feeling of being able to soak in the warm waters of a ( Read more... )

Stepping through the door was someone the princess hadn't seen in a good while. However, he does not notice her peeking, perhaps too caught up in the atmosphere of the hotsprings. He's dressed in a loose robe, carrying a towel, and his hair pulled back in a messy ponytail - just enough to keep it off his neck while he's in here.

He approaches the water, humming a bit to himself.

Eli's hands snapped in front of him, and he grinned up at Amelia. "Just...ah..." He sighs, but smiles. "Ah, I can't talk my way out of things when I get caught red-handed like this."

So instead, he'll reach up and gently poke at Amelia's nose. "Did you know you're positively adorable when you're mad, Amelia?"

Her nose scrunched up at the touch of his finger, making her blush awkwardly all the more. For now, she would ignore the small compliment, and do her best to deal with the situation without letting things get out of hand.

"You're not even the least bit sorry for that are you?" she sighed, knowing there was little point in arguing. It was fairly clear he wasn't going to be swayed by her scolding him, so why waste her energy.

Eli's head tilts at the reaction, and it draws a bit of a frown from the normally jovial man. "If I offended you, then yes, I do apologize. I meant no ill will - just harmless teasing and a bit of flirting, Amelia."

The look on his face made guilt settle in stomach, feeling as though she judged him a bit too harshly. She knew he meant no real harm, the antics of the hotel had just made her think the worst outcome first. Amelia had to scold herself for being so negative, particularly about someone whom she did like and trust.

"It's fine, I guess I just jumped to conclusions. I'm sorry Mr Eli." she apologised.

A smile returns to his face, and he reaches up, patting Amelia's cheek. "No harm done, princess. While you are quite lovely, and our initial encounter was a good bit of fun, I wouldn't force anything on you." Too honest for his own good, sometimes.

"Still, if there's anyway I can make it up to you, just ask." she replied, seemingly innocent as ever, though this time she did understand the way to words could be taken. She felt better in giving a sense of silent consent, and considering that she now was much more used to the hotel, perhaps a little show of gratitude for his help on arrival wouldn't hurt.

Eli smirked, drawing a finger down the healer's cheek to her chin. "Well, I don't suppose I could bother you to join me in here, could I?"

She blinked a moment, face pinkening before nodding. It wasn't a big deal, but for some reason she was sure her voice would have came out as a high pitched squeak if she had tried to say something.

More for the sake of modesty, she carefully unwound the towel, not showing off too much as she let it fall beside her, before sinking down into the water. She sunk down to her neck, soaking a moment before rising up to rest her back against the wall of the spring, the peak of her chest just barely showing at the top of the water. While this meant not much could be seen, the droplets that fell from the tips of her hair, sliding down her neck and shoulders, before disappearing past her breasts into the pool, might have been quite enticing to watch.

Quite enticing indeed, and while Eli watched, he did do his best to not look like he was enjoying it.

At least, not too much.

Once Amelia had settled in, he scooted a bit closer, smiling. "Ahh, you're just as lovely as I recall..."

"Well it hasn't been that long since we saw each other." she replied, opting for the casual. Despite the time that had passed, she still found it hard to think of how to respond to those sort of compliments.

For now, everything seemed as normal as the hotel could get, so Amelia didn't waste the chance to relax a bit. She wrung out the tips of her hair so they didn't drip, shaking her head and causing the droplets to fall onto her skin and slip down her shoulders, unaware for now of any allure the sight posed.

"Is this all you wanted me to do Mr Eli?" she asked in a calm tone.

"Maybe not so long, but I've been rather busy exploring, so it seems longer than it was, I suppose.,,"

He was going to say more, but alas, Amelia's accidental teasing carried on, and he found himself staring - and missing the question.

"I guess that makes sense." she nodded in understanding, about to ask if he had found anything of interest when she caught the stare. The silence hung in the air for a moment, before she grew concerned. Reaching her hand out, she touched his forehead to check his temperature, the movement making her rise slightly in the water, reavealing more of her chest.

"Mr Eli...are you feeling okay?" she turned to look at him properly, wondering if the heat of the pool was getting to him.

The touch to his head and her question brought him out of his daze, and he chuckled a bit. "Ah, I'm quite alright, m'lady," he answers, taking the reaching hand in his own. "Just admiring the scenery."

"Well, if you're sure." she replied, head tilted as she still found herself questioning why he had zoned out before. She didn't pull her hand away, but was starting to become curious as to why he wasn't letting go of her. It seemed as if all she could do was watch him expectantly, wondering if he had something else to say to her.

Perhaps it was the heat, or a faint sweet scent in the air - or perhaps it was just his nature that spurred him on. Either way, he moved forward, his free arm slipping around Amelia's shoulders. "Oh, I'm very certain - how could I be anything but alright, when I'm in the loveliest of company?"
