It hit McCoy suddenly, the book he'd been perusing dropping out of suddenly nerveless fingers. He reached out for the bookshelf, clutching it with a white-knuckled hand, trying to control his suddenly ragged, heavy breathing. He could feel his skin flushing, reddening his face and neck, and it felt like his blood was heating up within his veins

A Captain couldn't even walk down a hallway without getting herself into trouble these days, she certainly hadn't expected to be getting pinned to a wall by the male version of her CMO. "Uhh..." Jamie dumbly blinked, waiting for her smart mouth to catch up with her brain's understanding of the situation. It was hard when all she could think was; 'Jesusfuck, Bones is not supposed to have the sexy accent.' Sexy anything and Bones was difficult to compute together when she was so used to her version coming with tits.
"Did you bang your head or did you just come to your senses at long last?" Jamie queried with a smirk written all over her tone. Okay, it was probably bad for her to take advantage of her kind of best friend (or at least the male version of her) while he was in such a state. But hell, if he lept the accent thing up, there was only so much a woman could do to defend against a sound like that.

Never mind the fact that her own body seemed to be heating up rather quickly, which she would blame on his temperature, or the fact that she wasn't as frightened as she probably should be considering she had absolutely no idea who this man was.

"What is this place?" As if they had a mind of their own, Brooke's fingered tightened around his shirt. She had just arrived here about an hour ago and he was the first person she'd ran into, so she was still pretty confused about the whole thing.
Her mind seemed a little more focused on him, though.

Accents normally made her a little weak kneed. But knowing she couldn't even wiggle had her a bit flushed and embarrassed. "Help? ... W-What kind of help would you need? You seem. Um. Capable on your own."

"I... I guess it's okay? Just not here. I don't like giving people an eyeful." Because it couldn't be that bad if he was asking instead of just charging on ahead. Besides, it was sort of a turn on being told she was needed.
