Paradox couldn't remember falling asleep here-he didn't even remember falling asleep-but for right now that didn't matter. Now he was wide awake and had no idea where he was. The most he gathered was the obvious: this was a hotel room. Nothing looked too out of the ordinary: two beds, a connecting bathroom, a couch, and a closet. It looked like a ( Read more... )

[Cue Z-one walking into the room, gliding around silently like the creeper that he is. He spots Paradox in the bathroom, and slinks his way up behind him.]

Hello, Paradox.

[He's just in the process of undoing his braids when Z-one enters. He almost jumps but realizes who it is. He takes a breath and relaxes. Questions still aren't answered but at least he knows someone. He turns to look at him.]

Good morning, Z-one. [he has no idea if it's actually morning]

[The glass door to the shower opens up nearly by, revealing another Z-ONE double dressed in only a towel. He's wet, warm and crosses his arms at his other]

And where did you come from?

[He raises an eyebrow. Well, that was certainly unexpected. Not that he has any idea where he is right now, so he should be prepared for anything to happen at this point.]

...I'm not entirely certain where I came from, to be perfectly honest. I should be asking you the same however, seeing as you look exactly like me.

[Save for the right half of his face. There was a certain helmet oddly missing from this doppleganger. ]

The beauty of being a wanderer with so few physical possessions is that one doesn't have to keep their things in their room when they go out, usually.

However, Juudai thought wryly as he peered around the corner to investigate the sounds he heard from the bathroom, maybe it wasn't such a great thing in this case when you forget to lock the door after you go out, and then someone decides it's now going to be their room.

...Not just any someone, either.

"Oh," he said bluntly, "guess you're still alive and kicking, huh?"

"Nn-" Paradox always found it difficult to comb out his hair, especially after sleeping. Unfortunately, it seemed his hair was especially tangled, and he hadn't even reached his braids. The frustration was building the more tangles he encountered. Already, he wished someone was here to help him...

And then he heard the door open, and that voice was all too familiar. There were three people he never wanted to see again, and here one of them was in this room.

He turned, "You."

And he threw the brush, aiming right at Judai's head.

Juudai ducked reflexively, and the brush clattered against the wall behind him instead. He seemed anything but surprised by the appearance of a man who was supposed to be dead with his help, but then, perhaps he was a bit jaded about things like that now.

"Nice throw," he remarked with an arched eyebrow. "Well, if you're done chucking things at me, can I ask what the hell you're doing here?"

Damn. It didn't hit. He started looking for something else to throw at him.

"If you're so curious," he said, glaring at Judai, "I woke up here. What are you doing here?"
