It started out as any ordinary day; Doris got up, dressed, made breakfast for her and her brother, Dan, cleaned up and then went outside to begin the day's work. She started out at the barn, letting the cows, sheep and goats out then proceeded to the stables to let the horses out and then the chickens and ducks. While the animals were either ( Read more... )

In Doris' moment of weakness she probably failed to notice a certain red-headed stranger lying in that incredibly large bed. He had been asleep previously but he soon frowned and started to open his eyes. He didn't know where he was, but the bed, or rather the fabric on the bed felt familar. Like he had been here before.

When his blurry vision started to clear he noticed exactly where he was. "Shit." he muttered under his breath as he sat up. The Love Hotel. He knew this place all too well, and he was better off being back home and not remembering it.

He scans the room a little and see's Doris, but he doesn't say anything yet. This person obviously hadn't been here before and he didn't want to startle her.

Doris had not seen anyone when she first appeared in the room, so when she heard that muttered word, she jumped up from the bed and whirled around. Heart racing, she was now looking at a young man with red hair who was asleep in the bed she had just been sitting on.

Her hand went straight for her whip as she grasped it and uncoiled it with admirable speed. She stilled her hand, not sure if this person was a foe -- certainly wasn't a friend since Doris didn't have any. She had more enemies than friends.

Judging by the looks of it, this person was trying their best not to agitate her, but Doris was already so high strung that even the lighest breeze would set her off.

"Who are you? Did you bring me here?" she asked, though if he listened carefully, he could pick up hints of fear and malice embedded into her voice.

He was afraid something like this might happen. He puts his hands up in a surrendering gesture.

"Whoa, whoa, just calm down I didn't bring you here. I'm a prisoner just like you." He tries to say as unthreatening as possible-- was that a WHIP she had? Geez who WAS this lady? "If you give me a second, I can explain what's going on..."

Doris didn't remove her hand from her whip's handle. She stood there are this man explained himself.

"Prisoner?! I'm a prisoner?! Are you working for some Noble?!" she said as her voice began to rise in anger. "I'm giving you five seconds to explain." The whip was hanging at her side like a lifeless snake, but in the same amount of time she could drawn in a breath, the whip could have wrapped around this man's neck, breaking it without a second's thought.

"I'm listening," she said as she collected herself. It would do her no good if she were to kill the only person who could help her out.
