Abel was standing, not too far away, staring at the fake sun and seeing for himself how beautiful life was. It had been many months since he had to last fight to survive, and after becoming a Messiah, it left him with no time to appreciate the fact that he survived the Lockdown. That he was alive.

Abel noticed a red haired female a slight distance away, looking all bothered and frumpy, as if something had happened to her that had unnerved her so. He started to walk towards her, with his white cloak fluttering behind him.

"A penny for your thoughts, my lady."

"Right. Play."

So he did. Abel, using both hands, started splashing water at Minako, grinning slightly. The splashes became increasingly intense the longer it he did so, and soon enough, Abel was all wet, and having fun.

Minako made a point of throwing herself into fun, when she was able to have it, so she was soaked, her hair loose along her shoulders, and almost laughing as she sent another wave back at Abel.

Abel waved in response, grinning back at her. He was glad to see her smiling so happily, in total contrast to how she was at the beginning of the trip, all pensive and moody.

He waded towards her, before pushing her alongside him into the water, which was still relatively shallow to begin with.

She hit the water with a soft laugh, an arm shooting out to make a grab for him to drag him down with her. If she was going down, then so was he.

Abel fell on his bottom, grinning widely at Minako. She was really so beautiful in that swimsuit, so much so that indecent thoughts started to appear in his mind once again. Shrugging them off, he helped her up from the water and chuckled at how absolutely adorable she was once again.

"Well, if you don't mind..."

Abel leaned over to give Minako a soft peck on the cheek, blushing wildly after that. Yes, he was a virgin and he had never kissed a woman before, much less indulged in anything else.

The kiss on her cheek was unexpected. Blinking, she peered up at him, her own cheeks a little pink in response.

"I really don't... mind."

...Oh gods, Minako was so beautiful. She seemed simply adorable when she was blushing, no less. Ordinarily, Abel would never dream of such a thing, but this was different.

Shaking softly, Abel leaned forward and gave Minako a soft peck on her lips. Immediately after that act, Abel's face turned pink and he lost his footing, falling onto the water and causing a big splash.

She finally cracked up, automatically reaching down to help him back up. Water be damned, she could handle getting soaked if she was helping someone.

"You seem kinda new at all this. Are you alright?"

"Yes, I am. Thank you for the concern."

Abel smiled, glad to see that she had finally brightened up fully at this point.

"I'm glad to see that you're smiling now. You seemed... very disturbed when I first saw you, so I'm glad I'm of help to you, Minako."

Abel grinned, blushing slightly.

"Well, I am a servant of the Lord, after all. It's something I never had the opportunity to try out. Just so you know, you're exceptionally beautiful when you're smiling. Smile more, please."

Her smile softened a bit at the compliment. People called her cute all the time, but beautiful? She'd never heard that before.

"I always try to smile, even when I feel like crying. People expect that from me."

Well, Minako was, in Abel's eyes, beautiful. That was the truth. Abel gently eased her into an embrace, and stroked her hair softly.

"It's all right. You don't have to pretend in front of me. Smile when you need to smile. Cry when you need to cry."

Oddly enough, she stiffened when she felt his arms around her.

"... I'm not going to cry over someone I've already cried over."

This someone had probably done something unforgivable to Minako, and Abel felt that he had no place telling her more on that regard.

He let go, and began to laugh awkwardly at her for how... completely stupid he must seem. Especially to a lady whom he has met only once in his life.

"I apologize, Minako. I was presumptuous and impertinent and I did not respect your privacy."
