Hope you don't mind a pink-haired "princess" =3 musicalprayers June 15 2011, 13:57:50 UTC
Lacus felt the building rock from what she could only guess were explosions. Her heart was racing; had someone come for her? Or could it be that she was about to find herself in the middle of a fight that had nothing to do with her at all?

She said nothing as she was pulled roughly to her feet. Lacus didn't bother to struggle, instead focusing on keeping her chin held high - even with a gun pointed at her head. Though she appeared calm and collected (for the most part), on the inside she was a wreck.

Her composure broke when the doors she faced open. At the sight of her friend standing there she instinctively took a step forward. "Nagi, no!" she exclaimed. Immediately the man pulled her back, pinning her to his body and shoving the gun right against her temple. Lacus bit back another warning, though worry shone in her eyes.

Owl's eyes focus on her, on his Light, his princess, so to speak. Already an orb of blood is coming upon the man holding Lacus hostage as he steps closer. The man with the gun pointed at him tries to threaten him, but Owl doesn't seem to care, or pay the man any real mind.

No, instead an orb is already nearing him, blowing up in his face and sending the man flying into a wall. The man holding Lacus hostage pushes her away and tries to fire at him. A couple of bullets craze Owl's shoulders, but he doesn't even flinch. His response is for the orb near the man with the gun to explode, taking care of him no problem.

He sees her, but barely registers her, more orbs flying out and blowing out walls, causing concrete and the like to fall around them. His mind was gone, it was elsewhere, lost in saving her so much that if she didn't try to settle him down, they would both go down.

Lacus stumbled as she was pushed away, but quickly regained her balance and hurried to get out of the line of fire. She looked over her shoulder just in time to see the orb explode right near the man. Even though he was an enemy, she flinched at the sight of all the blood.

Now things were getting out of control. The room was starting to come down all around them, and she feared that they would both be crushed if they didn't get out of there fast.

Lacus approached Nagi and grabbed his arm. She kept her voice calm, yet firm, as she spoke. "Nagi, it's alright now. You can stop." One hand went up to gently touch his face. "We need to leave this place now, in case others show up. Okay?"

He sees her approaching him, and of course he doesn't attack her. He couldn't do that, not to Lacus. He hears her words and feels her touch, and it does more for him than perhaps Lacus herself could ever know. A hand comes up to the one cupping his face, settling over it, the palm covered in dried up blood.

He could stop, because she was safe. His gaze fixes onto hers, and for the first time since before she was captured he sees her, and he can't help but smile sadly as a single tear slides down his cheek.

"Ah, silly me. I seem to be leaking." An attempt to joke, the relief at seeing her be the one to bring him back down clear in his eyes.

The first explosions that rock the building tell Terra enough. She closes her eyes and lets her head fall forward, trying to block out the sounds of mayhem that grow closer and closer to where she's being held. She doesn't look at the guards around her; she doesn't need to, not when she can hear them fidgeting and cursing and trying to figure out what's going on without going outside. And in the back of her mind, all she can think is Please, Nagi, don't come.

But he does. Of course he does. And she's happy to see him, sure, but she isn't happy to see him here and she isn't happy to see him looking how he is. Where was her Nagi? Who was this man standing in front of her covered in blood, much of which she suspected wasn't his own. "Nagi, stop, you can't--!"

Terra~ <3 hopeful_owl June 17 2011, 04:38:50 UTC
Nagi looks in Terra's direction, and although he's relieved that she's okay, that she's safe, the look in his eyes makes it seem as though he hardly even registers her. "I already have." He replies, a hard look in his eyes as he steps closer to her, his hands at his sides.

"I did it for you, but now, I guess none of that really matters anymore. It's all going to shit. But I'll make it all better. I'll give these cowards something to fear. They will keep you no longer."

Nagiiii he breaks my heart :( iknowlove June 17 2011, 04:57:04 UTC
Terra shakes her head and glances up at the men; none of the guns were on her, now, not when there was an "actual" threat at the door. She lifts her gaze up toward Nagi, pleading with him without words to run, get out, I'll be fine, but it's no use, is it? If he believed that, he wouldn't have come. No, scratch that, he would have still been standing in front of her.

There must be a way to keep him from behaving rashly, right? Worry gets the best of her and, with the guns no longer aimed at her, she promptly launches herself from her chair in order to tackle the nearest man to the ground. A distraction. She couldn't let them shoot him.

Nagi's eyes widen when Terra tackles one of the men. What was she doing? All of the soldiers immediately point their guns at her, and Nagi's arms spread out at his sides before he crosses them, more orbs coming out and flying to the group of men. There's fierce explosions all around them, but arms wrap around her, keep her safe as a grunt can be heard low in Terra's ear.

She can see out of the corner of her eye that it was Nagi, his arms around her as he rolls her away from the soldier she tackled, that man getting an explosion of his own, the room full of now dead corpses.

"Idiot.." He grumbles to himself, pulling away from Terra and standing onto his feet, a bit wobbly. Loss of blood, and now his back was all scratched and a bit burnt up some. He could have been talking about himself as much as Terra. His gaze softens as he looks down at her.

"Are you okay?"
