She said nothing as she was pulled roughly to her feet. Lacus didn't bother to struggle, instead focusing on keeping her chin held high - even with a gun pointed at her head. Though she appeared calm and collected (for the most part), on the inside she was a wreck.
Her composure broke when the doors she faced open. At the sight of her friend standing there she instinctively took a step forward. "Nagi, no!" she exclaimed. Immediately the man pulled her back, pinning her to his body and shoving the gun right against her temple. Lacus bit back another warning, though worry shone in her eyes.

No, instead an orb is already nearing him, blowing up in his face and sending the man flying into a wall. The man holding Lacus hostage pushes her away and tries to fire at him. A couple of bullets craze Owl's shoulders, but he doesn't even flinch. His response is for the orb near the man with the gun to explode, taking care of him no problem.
He sees her, but barely registers her, more orbs flying out and blowing out walls, causing concrete and the like to fall around them. His mind was gone, it was elsewhere, lost in saving her so much that if she didn't try to settle him down, they would both go down.

Now things were getting out of control. The room was starting to come down all around them, and she feared that they would both be crushed if they didn't get out of there fast.
Lacus approached Nagi and grabbed his arm. She kept her voice calm, yet firm, as she spoke. "Nagi, it's alright now. You can stop." One hand went up to gently touch his face. "We need to leave this place now, in case others show up. Okay?"

He could stop, because she was safe. His gaze fixes onto hers, and for the first time since before she was captured he sees her, and he can't help but smile sadly as a single tear slides down his cheek.
"Ah, silly me. I seem to be leaking." An attempt to joke, the relief at seeing her be the one to bring him back down clear in his eyes.

But he does. Of course he does. And she's happy to see him, sure, but she isn't happy to see him here and she isn't happy to see him looking how he is. Where was her Nagi? Who was this man standing in front of her covered in blood, much of which she suspected wasn't his own. "Nagi, stop, you can't--!"

"I did it for you, but now, I guess none of that really matters anymore. It's all going to shit. But I'll make it all better. I'll give these cowards something to fear. They will keep you no longer."

There must be a way to keep him from behaving rashly, right? Worry gets the best of her and, with the guns no longer aimed at her, she promptly launches herself from her chair in order to tackle the nearest man to the ground. A distraction. She couldn't let them shoot him.

She can see out of the corner of her eye that it was Nagi, his arms around her as he rolls her away from the soldier she tackled, that man getting an explosion of his own, the room full of now dead corpses.
"Idiot.." He grumbles to himself, pulling away from Terra and standing onto his feet, a bit wobbly. Loss of blood, and now his back was all scratched and a bit burnt up some. He could have been talking about himself as much as Terra. His gaze softens as he looks down at her.
"Are you okay?"
