Riza was mildly surprised that she found someone that she liked spending time with in this place. It didn't hurt that they had something big in common. They both knew how to use firearms quite well and knew a lot about different kinds of guns. They had many different conversations on firearms and their uses. He had rather interesting views on ( Read more... )

It was, probably, really strange of him to leave in a rush like that. But, it really didn't matter if he was with Lupin or whatever. Riza seemed to be needing his help and far from him to turn his back on her, specially when she helped him back then with that stocks thing.

And if she was surprised about enjoying his company, Jigen himself was probably two times more shocked with the fact that he found a woman he honestly cared for. It had been a while since that happened and he sincerely thought it would be quite hard for him to feel sympathy towards any other person of the opposite gender. But Riza clearly changed his mind about that.

It took him a while to get to her room. That Hotel, sometimes, felt like a maze and he would get lost pretty easily. Fortunately, he just took one or two wrong turns before finding his final destination.

"Can I come in?" He asked after knocking on the door, hand already on the doorknob.

"Yes, please," she said, standing up from the bed. She was glad that he finally got here. She cared for the gunman, but she wasn't sure if it could actually be called love, especially in a place like this. He got to see a side of her that not many people got to see. Most people just saw the cold, calculating bodyguard and sniper that she was in the military.

She wasn't sure that she would want him to meet her commanding officer or subordinates, at least, not in a military setting. Maybe at the bar after a few drinks, but not at the offices that they worked at.

"I'm glad you were able to find my room. This place is a maze. It's amazing that we're able to find anyplace more than once," she said.

With her clear permission, he got inside and closed the door behind him, and was kind of glad it didn't lock.

'Love' probably wasn't the right word, but she on his good side, Something very few people had achieved, so she was probably doing something right. and meeting a whole bunch of military people in a base was the kind of thought that gave Jigen the chills. He wasn't exactly fond of the idea of being surrounded by people of the law in such an environment.

"Ah, yes. I used to get lost on this place all the time, but I guess I'm learning." He moved from the door and walked to her.

She was thankful that she didn't hear the click of the lock as she walked towards him. She was also glad that she still had control over what she did. She hated it when this place took away her control. It was one of the things that she valued.

Normally she wasn't this forward about this kind of thing, but the drugs seemed to be a bit stronger recently and she hated it. She just wanted to be able to survive in this place for a little while longer before she went insane.

She gave him a small smile before pulling him into a kiss.
