It wasn't often that a woman was interested in him. He was, after all, several hundred years older than just about any woman he'd met. Katara's powers had fascinated him in a way he couldn't really identify. The conversation about respective powers had been awkward at times, considering the nature of Shang Tsung's eternal youth, but he had managed to convince her that he only took the souls of the worst humanity had to offer. (ooc: I assume that even though he's centuries old you're going with a look closer to her age? I'll be aging her up to at least 17 or 18 for this one.)The hotel was helping to push things along, she was sure there were probably aphrodisiacs involved. As to their conversation Katara couldn't say she was any more alright with the idea of taking the lives of others to stay young. Granted they were murderers, the worst kinds of thieves, and so on and so forth, but she'd only wonder if it was alright to judge others and determine who lived and died ( ... )

Shang just stroked his beard as he turned back to Katara. "Of course. I wouldn't want some brute interrupting our 'conversations.'"

He smirked as he offered a hand, fully intending to pull her into an embrace, perfect for copping a feel.

You were really just minding your own business when the urge hit, but now you're roaming the halls of the hotel practically overcome with the desire to find the next suitable partner to take for your own, or maybe you just have a more specific, particular taste for what who doesn't belong to you.

Whatever the case, you spot them from a few yards away looking perfectly comfortable, willing, and ready to get lost in one another for the night.

Well that won't do. You see her and you want her for yourself, instead, and it doesn't really bother you in the least bit if you have to scare or beat the crap out of the guy she's with to get her. When the couple finally notices you the guy noticeably tenses and Katara spares him a glance, then you next. She's not going to get in the middle of the rising tension, but the look in her eyes-- you might be misinterpreting it but you swear it's almost as if she's daring you to show her what you're made of. Are you strong enough to take her from her current partner?

Your girl here means business. There's a pair of water whips hovering dangerously within her range of control, just waiting to make a move against the female that dared to encroach on Katara's perceived territory.

The master waterbender has a fierce look in her eyes as she glares the other woman down, not caring about any difference in age, size, or possible experience. She's going to defend what's rightfully hers because she saw you first damn it.

If you're the woman daring to try stealing her date for the evening then you should be warned that she's quite capable of inflicting serious injury, possibly even death. Of course you don't have to worry about dying, Katara's not a murderer, she's tried and it didn't work out so well, but that doesn't promise you'll get out of the situation unharmed or even conscious.
