Lyn couldn't see anything at first, but right away she knew she wasn't in her bedroom in her grandfather's castle. Wherever she was, it was dark thanks to the lighting being far too dim to see much of anything. Even her hand was difficult to see if she held it right in front of her face! Even worse, the area was cramped, and she could feel her head ( Read more... )

And in just that instant, the hand of Lyn had found itself ensnared by a tight grip from one Sanger Zonvolt. The look on his face could tell anyone he was not pleased, and that had been an understatement. His eyes quickly paced back and forth, studying the interior of what he assumed to be his mobile suit; it certainly seemed that way. But then, why had there been this strange woman here? She certainly was not Magus, and didn't appear to be one of the Innocent or Moon Race. A Civilian however? Possibility.

But if that were the case, why was she in here? The only other explanation could have been the irregulars. Glaring at Lyn, he asked, "Identify yourself, now."

Given the haze of darkness over the area, Lyn could hardly see the look on his face, but when the lights went up, it was terribly clear how angry her companion was. Of course, the tone in his voice and his grip on her hand could tell her that much even when it was still dark. Still, she couldn't allow herself to be cowed. The swordswoman steeled her own nerves and looked at him with her own manner of annoyance.

"Lyn. Is this your..." she looked around again. Nothing in the cramped enclosure looked like any sort of dwelling she had ever been in. At best, it looked more like a throne, but who would put a throne in such a tiny place? "...throne? What is this?"

Throne? That had earned a raised eyebrow from the hardened and mind-slave of a pilot. Thrones were rare even in this world, and they were in a far more open space, unlike here where two pilots could not move properly because of the machine he had been trying to pilot. Nevertheless, the thought died after a single second.

"You are inside the Thrudgelmir," he stated, resuming the glare again. "Now why have you decided to trespass on the territory of Magus?"

Well, that pretty much made her mood sour as well. Lyn could put up with a lot, but being accused of something she didn't do was one of the few things she tolerated.

"Trespass? I don't even know where I am or how I got here!" she spat back, not hesitant about getting right back in his face again. "So why don't you be a gentleman and help me figure out how I came here in the first place?!"
