There was a woman in the halls that night as she silently padded, unable to sleep as well. The restless nature of Tokyo with its fast moving lights and sounds and smells could be disorienting for a woman of her design. Clad in red flannel pyjamas, "Alex Draco" was one of the recent arrivals in the pro-circuit of what was known as the Riding Duel.

Piercing gold eyes with soft red hair falling to the middle of her back, Alex looked all the world like she stepped out of a fashion magazine despite her slightly rumpled appearance as she stepped onto the balcony as well. With the wind ruffling her clothing, she seemed like she had wings for a brief moment, drinking in the emotions of the world.

Nervousness tinged at her senses, and she looked over. Ah yes, wasn't that one of the entrants of the circuit? What was her name? Oh yes, Ruka.

"Beautiful night we're having," said Alex, leaning over the railing to smile at the girl on the other balcony.

"...Huh? Oh, yeah - it's a very beautiful night." Ruka had been slightly caught off guard by the other girl's appearance; she didn't think anyone else would be up this late. And she couldn't have seen what she thought she'd saw - despite still being able to talk and see Duel Spirits, it had been a long time since the fate of the world had depended on Team 5Ds.

Green hair. And clearly not of the elven races or the gnomes either. She was a fully fledged green haired child. Thoughts of her younger sister flitted across Alex's memory as she smiled. She wondered if Ysera was having a good nap.

"You're one of those new up and coming girls aren't you? In the Riding Duel I mean for this month's league."

"...Yeah, but my brother's part of one of the dueling teams." Ruka smiled lightly while fully turning to face the other girl. "I'm Ruka; it's nice to meet you!"
