When you awoke you felt like your head was spinning. Had you been drugged? Perhaps. But what you did know wass, where you were before you are not anymore. As you stood up, you realized that you're inside of what appeared to be a run down amusement park.

There was a brochure laying on the ground next to your feet. You picked it up and it read Read more... )

For some reason his head----irked him, he did not know why. Immediately discerning his surroundings, he was highly irritated. It looked like some sort of pleasure grounds. Carnivals, they called them. He had not been to one, they were frivolous and he was always at work.

Besides, the sound of children laughing annoyed him.

Speaking of children laughing, there was a young-sounding voice over the loudspeaker. As for the blood spattering the walls, they did not bother him in the slightest. He was an extremely violent creature that looked upon human weakness with disgust, he was void of pity.

He stared with his deadened right eye at the direction of the loudspeaker.

"I do not much like games. Stop toying with me and tell me what you are after, girl."

"Girl?" He asked and laughed. "I'm afraid you've made a mistake. As for what I am after, well... Perhaps we will find out about that later. Maybe I'll peel off your flesh and devour it as I did to the others who were unfortunate enough to end up here hm?"

There again was the laughter. "Welcome to the nest. This is my wonderland and you're going to play whether you like it or not because I do enjoy games. Our first one is hide and seek. If you find me, then you may be able to find your way out of this facility. Because I assure you, you will not be able to get out of this place on your own."

Hearing the other's voice did confirm--his enemy was male. Not that it made much of a difference. He killed indiscriminately anyone in his way, now freed from the yoke of his home world. He did find what the other said intriguing, however. There was a ruthlessness in the other's voice worthy of his own. A strong enemy.

He removed his patch over his eyes , which narrowed coldly at the loudspeaker. His mouth barely moved as he spoke evenly.

"You plan on devouring me? Well then. I suppose I should get looking."

He leaned in and looked at the monitor "Oh what a pretty eye you have." He jumped up from his seat excitedly. "Yes, lets begin!" He pressed a red button upon the control panel and a series of enormous doors opened.

"Pick your path. Door 1, 2, or 3. And by the way, do choose wisely." He said before turning off the loudspeaker system.

He clapped his hands, chuckled, and exited the monitoring room through an air vent.

Ohh, her head. Sitting up from where she was laying on a cold, stone floor, Rukia pressed her palm to her forehead and sighed. She wasn't hungover .. this was a different, fuzzy sort of pain. The sort you feel after you take too much cold medicine and sleep through something important.

Speaking of something important - where in the hell was she? This wasn't the hotel anymore! Normally she would be overjoyed, but the mood here was sinister ... and she was back in her shinigami garb, with a sword at her side. Definitely not her or Ichigo's world either. Somewhere .. dangerous.

Starting at the sound of the voice, she chose to ignore the words. After all, they just wanted to get under her skin ; classic scare tactic tactics. It didn't matter what they had to say, anyway.

"I'm afraid you'll find me a bad playmate," she retorted, her eyes surveying the area around her. Other than the loudspeaker, it looked abandoned and ruined.

Abandoned and ruined but more destroyed than anything due to the events that happened in the past. "I don't care if you choose to play or not. I won't willingly let you leave. The last people who came into my nest? I disemboweled them, ripped them to pieces, and then feasted upon their flesh." His words were cheerful and eerie.

"I wonder how you taste..."

no really though. xD runawaysnow April 4 2011, 00:40:13 UTC
Really? Was that all he had? She'd met Hollows who were more frightening to her, even if the crackling of the loudspeaker was an interesting effect. All in all, if he had visual surveillance over the area, he'd note a particularly bored expression on her face. As if he expected cannibalism to be frightening~

"Probably too tart for you. I'm a little bit lean to eat," she confided, her hand resting on the hilt of her sword.

"Oh and she has a sense of humor too? This will be quite wonderful, Dove-Chan." He said with a laugh to follow. He had only known her for a handful of minutes and already he thought up a nickname for her. She was prideful, beautiful, and seemed to be strong willed. Thus he gave the name Dove to her.

"Maybe I will keep you as my very own little pet."

Zion staggered around trying to get his bearings. He carefully observes the blood splatters everywhere. He clutched his head feeling very strange, he soon hears Toto's voice gazing at it with a confused look. "I don't want to play." he murmured walking again, to find a nice silent place to sleep off this spinning sensation in his head.

"Which way is out? I'm on a tight schedule, and I can't waist my time being here playing a game."

He's watching Zion from the control room on the monitoring system he's pieced together using various computers and what not.

"I didn't ask if you wanted to play." He said with a snicker. "Ha! I won't let you out. You have to earn it." With that, the loudspeaker clicked off and the bay doors of the prison opened.

Zion's eyes narrow at the loud speakers, how annoying. This was going to be a very long day for him, the dizziness he felt still had yet to subside and he was stuck in a place that had the word deadman in it with some sick person who probably had some sick idea of fun. He sighed and just stared at the doors, it was trap clearly it had to be one, but it was better then just wandering here lost until the other found him.

With a long sigh he begins to cautiously walk through the doors and into the area, figuring he may as well play along until he fully understood the problem at hand.

There was no way the child would be able to get out easily. Toto was going to make the game challenging.

As Zion walked through the doors he may or may have not noticed the piles of skeletons stacked up on the sides of the room. Many were in pieces and the skulls of them had been bashed in long ago.

So the keeper of the nest made his exit as well, leaving the room he was in to give chase and stalk his prey.

"I suppose it does. Or I was sent as bait."
Medusa resented this, as much as she resented shoes on her feet. It itched, and annoyed, until something would have to give. But it would not be her. Not today. She refused for something like that to happen. To play? This was not the kind of playing field she had been looking for. It was unasked for, and she resented the fact that she was in this situation.

She made to walk, bare feet on the ground. It seemed as if the blood splatters...hmm. That was not a problem. But where they dry? It did not matter. For all she knew, it could have been coated with something nasty, or the blood infected with something she could not cure. Either way, she detoured around it, as she walked further in.
She had never been much for amusement parks. They were too forced happy, full of people. Trying to forget all of the daily worries. And for what? She nudged a bit of debris with her foot. "Such high price for fun..."
