It was an unusual day here for Alph. In other words, for once it wasn't obviously screwing with him. His clothes were normal (even if his armor had gone missing yet again), he felt normal, and the halls were the same as ever, and he was in a good enough mood to greet the first person he walked past

Koakuma blinks at him, slight confusion on her face... "Wakarimasen..." She meant to say 'I don't understand' but for some reason she can only speak in Japanese. "『What's the Hotel doing now? I can't speak English anymore?』"

Alph blinked. "Koa? Jung qvq lbh fnl?"

He pauses and listens to himself. That's old tongue, a common langue for him, but up until now, every else has understood it... Not even 'What did you say' will get him far like this.

She's somewhat at a loss over what to do at first, and looks quite confused. "『Jung qvq... what? Stupid Hotel!』" It's not getting her very far... and she's betting sex will make things go back to normal. The devil sighs.

Alph recognized the clumsy words 'what did', which meant two things: either they were making progress, or she was just parroting him.

"Lbh guvax guvf vf gur boivbhf, Koakuma?" Is it the obvious, he asked, stressing her name - at the very least, he could make sure she knew he recognized her.
