Power.

It was such an intangible thing. Sure, one could covet it in terms of property, wealth, and the like, but power in itself was immeasurable. There was no scent, no taste, just a raw upsurge of insatiable feeling that flowed through every vein in the body, infected every thought, daunted every footstep. And as of this moment, the prince had to ( Read more... )

"Hi."

What would've ordinarily been a welcoming face at his doorstep was instead an unsightly one. Ugly and terrible. A blight on his vision. Human. Schneizel frowned deeply at her, eyes briefly scanning over her figure, assessing her as a threat ( ... )

"Nina Fortner," Schneizel repeated in the same, dead tone. "What shall they write on your tombstone? Died opposing the blade of justice? No, that's a bit cliché, isn't it? Died as a worthless, pitiful fool... died in the name of the new world. Yes..."

His eyes absolutely gleamed. "I apologize, but this will be the end of you. And of all things."

The speed with which she acted surprised him, but Schneizel was faster still. While his weapon-bearing hand was successfully seized, his free hand shot out to wrench itself around the other's throat. Briefly, he grinned, "Lovely form! Most admirable. But it's much too late. Humanity is due for a reckoning, and I must bring it. It is my duty, you see."

With that, the rapier thrust forward, albeit at an awkward angle from the grip, in an effort to gut her soundly.

There were times when he wondered at the way things happened in his life, but today hadn't been one of them. It had even been fairly calm, for once, in his general sphere of influence.

Still, he was never one to leave the interesting alone, and a blond on a warpath... well, it could never be said that he had it in him to ignore one of -those-.

Enemy spotted. Tall, with armor, silver hair, a respectable build. This particular foe could prove quite the challenge.

"Schneizel el Britannia," he introduced himself from afar. "You stand as an obstacle to the world they desire. As such, you will be eliminated."

A near feral grin stretched across his face then. "My apologies. That's not what you were expecting, was it? Perhaps that was impolite of me..."

Bowing awkwardly as he began to approach, Schneizel just continued to grin. "Please, accept your fate, and this will go much more smoothly for the both of us."

Schneizel had no idea who he was addressing, but he was about to find out. He raised his rapier high above his head...

Yes, that's far from an impossible result <3 thewaitingdark December 28 2010, 04:00:32 UTC
He twisted to the side, calling masamune to his fingertips and flicking her sideways at the man to swat him with the flat. If it connected or not really depended on how fast the man was. "And yet you didn't wait for my name? Shame."

Schneizel was quick at the parry; however, the sheer force of the blade, even just its flat, was enough to send him stumbling back. He didn't glare, snap a retort, or even react at all. He simply deadpaned, "Your name is of no consequence to me."

And with that, he continued marching forward, so far no worse for the wear. There was no style or reason to his form of combat; simply the urge to murder, kill, slaughter.

It would likely be his own undoing instead.

Woman. Small. Fragile. Weak. These were the first things Schneizel took note of after he'd been nearly run into - not that he'd noticed, or cared - as his gaze drifted shamelessly down her body. She'd be almost considered cute, attractive, if she weren't such a blemish upon the earth. He immediately moved to encircle her, face and eyes equally dark and equally scheming.

"Apologies are not enough," he warned, "not for what you have done."

His hand shot out to catch her by the wrist, squeezing, restricting. "You deserve to be erased. You are not part of the master's plan, and thusly..."

Schneizel's scarlet eyes flashed dangerously. Now was the time to flee, if only Schneizel would allow it; instead, he was deadset on keeping his prisoner there, making her suffer, making them all suffer before the end finally came.

"You will be eliminated."

"Overreacting?" Schneizel scoffed at this silly young woman - silly girl was more like it, with her incessant giggling and harpy's shriek of a voice. He shook his head as he held her tight, hand shifting from her wrist to her throat. He shrugged away from the kick with ease, faster and stronger than she could ever hope to be. This was indeed a losing battle she was fighting. "Doubtless. Improbable. Impossible, in fact. My mission is far more important than anything you could imagine. Yes, the fate of the world lies in my hands alone, and you will not challenge me in this ( ... )

He wasn't sure how he had gotten here, and Craig was pretty sure he didn't like it.

Fire, fire was everywhere. The chaos was worse than the battles he had seen at Hogwarts, and he didn't even have his wand. Craig didn't think he had ever felt so helpless.

His attention was drawn to a man with a rapier, who seemed to be looking over everything, a small voice told Craig to get away but he couldn't seem to force himself to move.

"What's going on?" he asked him as he neared.

[OOC: Craig is a British wizard who isn't a hand to hand fighter, and doesn't have his wand. Dubcon/Noncon is good with me, just please no serious maiming, death, or bathroom. Any questions feel free to ask or pm.]

It had been the laughter that she had noticed first - dark, and evil, and a bit creepy if she did say so herself.

Of course, creepy wasn't to quite say bad, or even scary enough to cause the petite and short brunette to turn tail and run. If anything, it intrigued her, and Minatsuki spent a good few minutes pacing up and down the hallway, looking for the source of this psychotic laugh. It was very much like her to look for trouble, especially in this place, and more often than not, she managed to find it.

This time, trouble materialized before her, appearing in the shape of a tall blond man with a downright murderous gleam in his oddly colored eyes, and the body language of a cocky school yard bully. This? Maybe not as intriguing, but Minatsuki gave him a once over before stepping to the side of the hall to allow him to pass ( ... )
