He was dreaming. And, well, the dreams were nice, so it wasn't exactly a surprise to wake up with a bit of a hard on. The surprise came with realizing that the sheets he was tangled in weren't Starfleet regulation, not like he'd fallen asleep between. Or at least he thought he'd fallen asleep between. Without even bothering to open his eyes, he ( Read more... )

That warm body belonged to an older woman. Not that much older than Kirk himself. She had no clue what was going on, nor did she know that she wasn't in her room on the Enterprise that she knew. She shifted slightly when she felt a hand on her side, but didn't wake up.

At least, not yet. It would take a little bit more than some shifting and a groan to wake her up. A well timed message over the communications systems would wake her up, or a red alert...but that wasn't going to happen right now was it?

you enabled me damn fast, btw. daredtodo November 22 2010, 09:31:01 UTC
No, it wasn't. Not until Jim started impersonating his ship. Which could totally happen, but probably wouldn't.

He looked over the woman beside him. Little bit older, asleep, definitely hot in that way that meant she probably brooded like nobody's business. Huh. Thanks, subconscious, for picking excellent women again for him. Jim scrubbed his face with his hands before rolling out of bed.

And promptly slipping on the rug underfoot, floundering and swearing as he grabbed onto the bed. He was seriously not liking this place.

And you did the same with me. damnitkirk November 22 2010, 09:35:17 UTC
Now that got her to wake up. The sudden grabbing of the sheets caused her to sit up, looking around. She didn't remember going to bed with anyone, and she didn't think that she would go to bed with anyone from the crew. She knew that she had a bit to drink, but not enough to make her forget going to bed with someone.

And come to think of it, this wasn't her quarters at all. Too much red and the sheets were too nice. Definitely not standard issue. She covered herself up and leaned over the edge of the bed to take a look at him.

"Are you ok?"

Well, c'mon, Kirks and Boneses just go together. daredtodo November 22 2010, 09:38:30 UTC
"Just swell," Jim said bitterly, pausing a moment to wonder why the hell he still had boxers on when he had obviously been in bed with someone. Then he pulled himself to his feet. "I've been told my ego can take a bigger bruise than that without damage." Another pause; he looked over her. "Sorry for waking you."

Jesse'd had a few days in the hotel to more or less grow accustomed to it. Not as accustomed to it as those stuck here for months, but she was quick to adapt to new situations regardless of where she was. It was a pretty good survival strategy.

Being the adapter that she was, she had eventually found a lobby in the hotel with coffee and was currently carrying a cup of her own. Coffee was a rarity if it even existed at all where she came from, and here she could barely go a morning without a cup.

Jesse had been trying to make it back to her own room when she had accidentally entered a different room, giving a heavy sigh as she realized it wasn't hers. "Sorry, mate. Thought this was mine."

"Don't worry about it," Jim said hurriedly, looking at her, and then around the room again. Anything helpful at this point would be great. "It's not mine, either."

The warm body beside him made an objecting groan. Pasha had been wonderfully warm a few seconds ago and now it was cold darn it, she didn't approve of that at all. The young woman grumpily rolled over, trying to scoot closer to the warmth beside her, keeping her eyes tightly shut. It wasn't time to wake up just yet. She was too warm and cozy for that.

But then again. She hadn't slept with anybody last night. Had she? Pasha frowned slightly, peeking an eye open cautiously, slightly worried about who she would find beside her. Oh. Well. At least he was good looking from this angle.

Jim was good looking from every angle, but that was besides the point. Now whomever he had slept with was clinging and... yeah. He didn't do clinging. Gently nudging her away without looking to actually see if it could possibly be anyone he knows, he quietly scooted more to the edge of the bed.

Chekov made another little grumpy noise. She didn't deal well with being pushed about even when she was half asleep and she merely flopped back to where she had been before. He was warm damn it! And she was cold. But then again, she peeked an eye open blearily.

Oh holy shit.

Pasha came only a few centimeters away from literally falling off the bed, swearing to herself in foul Russian that definitely would have gotten her a clip around the ear from her mother.

Russian swearing was bad. Nyet, Russian swearing was downright horrible because he knew that voice and it was not supposed to be in bed with him.

Scooting quickly to the far side of the bed, he looked back to confirm him suspicions. "Ensign Chekov," he greeted solemnly.

Jim looked over at his bedmate and gave her half a smile before starting to move out of bed. "No idea, Gaila, but I hope it was a good reason."

late as hell, but ... one more? :3 im_head_boy November 23 2010, 23:50:39 UTC
Feeling the bed shifting as the body next to him began to move, Percy grumbled softly and rolled onto his other side, grabbing for the warmth before it got too far away. He did not approve of this whole 'Oliver leaving too early in the morning' thing, because it meant Percy lost his bedwarmer before he was properly awake.

Squinting up at the other man through sleep-hazed blue eyes, he got out, "Going out already, Oliver? It's early."

[ooc: if I may explain: Percy here is involved with an Oliver Wood who also uses Chris Pine as a PB, so ... mindfucks and identity confusion ftw? If I'm too late, feel free to ignore, but I couldn't pass it up. :)]

omg, sure, that's hilarious. <3 daredtodo November 24 2010, 04:01:53 UTC
Shit. Not only could he not remember sleeping with this guy, it was a guy who clearly had a boyfriend. Jim was fucked, but not in the fun ways.

"Umm," he said articulately, freezing where he was. "Sorry?"

That flat American accent coming out of Oliver's mouth was like a bucket of cold water dumped over Percy's head, and he scrambled up, fumbling for the glasses and wand (thankfully) on the bedside table and shoving his glasses on his face, nearly stabbing himself in the eye in the process. Had to be Polyjuice, he thought; to have his face but not his voice, and he pointed his wand at the stranger.

"Who are you?" he demanded.

"James T. Kirk, Captain of the USS Enterprise," Jim reeled off automatically, wondering why the hell this guy was pointing a stick at him. "Who are you?"
