This was most peculiar.

Chekov was immensely confused, when had she pinned her hair up and why there there curls left free of the pins? She certainly hadn’t been wearing this either. Pasha’s fingers ran over the silky material of the black dress she was wearing as she glanced around the place she’d found herself in. It was a beautiful ballroom, ( Read more... )

"Hello Pasha." He smiled looking at her, glad he cushioned her fall. "May I have this dance?"

Pasha glanced at the person beneath her. There was no way on Earth. "H-Hikaru?" She half squeaked, utterly confused. But she had thought nobody else from the Enterprise was anywhere near this place. It didn't matter though, because Hikaru was here now! With a joyful sound she hugged onto him "Hikaru! I can not beliewe you are here! I hawe missed you much--" Oh wait. What if this was one of the Hotel's tricks? It did like to play tricks after all.

"What's wrong Pash?" He stood, helping her up, he smiled a little shyly. "Dance?"

Pasha brushed off her dress, glad it hadn't hitched up too much when she'd fallen over, blushing before practically beaming at her friend. "I-I would lowe to!" She stammered. "I must warn you though, your feet are in danger of being trodden on."

There was a moment of silence, before a pair of arms slid around the girl's waist. A familiar chuckle resounded between them before Kyra spoke. "Hey, you could at least get me a drink first, huh?" It seemed that whatever was going on wasn't quite enough to change the convict's sense of humor.

On the floor as close as they were, it was easy to notice the change in the convict's appearance. It was something that had become more and more regular as of late, if one didn't know better, they may have suspected that the girl had begun doing it to herself. That was ludicrous though. She hated these sorts of frilly things, didn't she? Still, it was unmistakeable. Made up as she was, her wavy hair brushed to some semblance of health was fanned out on the floor beneath them. The green dress that sheathed her was nothing if not complementary. No, it was quite unmistakeable that Pasha was a pretty young girl.

Pasha's eyes widened at the silence, freezing and thinking up apologies in her head, she was just about to leap off the poor woman she'd knocked over when the arms curled around her middle. Her face burning bright pink she looked up at the face of the person sighing in relief when she recognised her. "Thank goodness, it is only you." She really wouldn't have felt comfortable if that had of been somebody else hugging onto her and using such cheesy lines.

She blinked then. Trying to figure out why Kyra looked different, she peered closely at the other girl's face, actually leaning in closer to her face as if to kiss her but her eyes roamed all over the convict's face instead. "You look different. Not bad different though. Good different." For a girl genius, Pasha could be incredibly stupid sometimes. A few more of Pasha's curls had sprung out from their pins, tumbling down and brushing against Kyra's face as the young woman frowned lightly, trying to figure out why she looked so different.

There was a half annoyed twitch at the girl's words, the arms loosening around her waist. If one didn't know better, they would have thought that Kyra was sulking. "Yeah. Only me." You're welcome by the way. She added mentally. It wasn't as if she couldn't have moved out of the way quick enough to avoid getting her back slammed against the floor. She could have just let the girl's head take that impact instead. It wasn't as if the navigator would have noticed that anyway.

When Pasha leaned close like that, she kept still, grey eyes watching the girl intently. At her words though, it was all the convict could do to keep from sighing. Just like Pasha. "S'just makeup, don't make a thing out of it," she mumbled. Pasha could be very, very stupid sometimes. Kyra wasn't quite sure why she could handle it so well, but she didn't question the fact too much. Unwinding an arm from around the girl, she brushed the stray strand of hair back, running her fingers gently through Pasha's curls.

"So are we staying down here all night, or what?"

"I am not. I am merely noting that it is different to your normal appearance." The girl noted, eyes still pouring across the other one's face before she backed up, sitting upright on top of Kyra, completely ignoring the tittering of the other people in the ballroom as she gave her friend a small smile.

She lent down again, in a finer fettle due to whatever she had been drinking earlier and more then a little bit flirty, which normally ended in no good. Pasha curled her finger around a strand of Kyra's hair, tugging on it gently before deliberately whispering against her ear to gain a reaction from her. She hadn't been nicknamed Ensign Lolita on her ship for no good reason. "Well I do not know about you but I am wery comfortable actually." Pasha noted with a cheeky grin before pushing herself up and off the other woman, offering a hand to help her upright.
