Apparently the alameda school board is receiving a lot of email in opposition of the safe school curriculum. so i am finding out who to email and maybe some of you will join me in writing letters of support. it doesn't matter where you are. i will post more information when i have it ( Read more... )

How do parents oppose this? Are they living under a rock? Stupid fucks infuriate me.

they are afraid that acknowledging that there are gay kids or kids with gap people in their families will turn their precious babies gay.

I take it these are the same people who voted yes on Prop 8.

As if gayness were the flu. If it were, I'd totally start coughing.

i imagine this is true. apparently there are some religious organizations behind many of the emails. i don't know the specifics though.
writing all of these letters is making me feel sick.
