ah, but fryes will last forever. they are a forever purchase. i love mine, and totally worth it. and incredibly comfortable.

and check ebay. you might find them a bit cheaper there.

i know. it's totally worth the money. i think i need to pay medical bills first and see where i land. i looked on ebay and this was the one style i couldn't find. there were other cute ones though.

yeah- i hear you. i am wanting a pair of fleuvogs- i finally find a pair of heels i can walk in with my cane, and they cost between $200-$300. but, i guess they are worth it as they have a lifetime thingy. sorry- can't spell today, not even going to try.

i am going to try ebay, and i might look a few places i know to see if i can find those boots for you- sometimes i have good luck. if i do, i will let you know. i know von maur here is clearing out their winter stuff, so i will check there, and when they clear out stuff, they really go cheap. that is how i got mine, and they went from 300 to 69 or something insane like that.

i was wondering though-the soles does that light sole bother you? i was looking at them and they are pretty much the perfect boots, but I was thinking that contrast is very distracting. they would look so cute with a skirt.

i thought about the sole too. but i think it's cute and wouldn't bother me. i think it actually makes them look a bit less clunky than they might otherwise.

I want some ugly but cozy boots but am too embarrased to go for Uggs. I really don't like the white soles on the Frye ones! They would be much better without that contrast.

i have uggs now but they aren't the suede ones. they're leather and clunky. i bought them in washington during a big snow/ice storm to keep my feet warm. that's my excuse!
but damn after 5 years of wear they are so comfortable and hard to give up.

i have a pair of uggs that i wear all the time, i've worn them so much that they are literally falling apart. 4.5 years old though. i will replace them probably next year.
