The modular shelters built for the early arrival and the survival shelters/tents are only meant to be temporary. People will need to start thinking of housing unless they wish to spend another winter in a survival shelter. Parcels of land have been cleared, or are being cleared for small homesteads

Shotgun houses are another possibility. Back in "Escort Service" I described the one that Darien and Bobby built.
