Okay scared now. Awesomely written.

I saw the allusion to incest, I remember thinking it when I read the series too. Was that true?

Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad that you found the story sufficiently scary (mwahaha, my work here is done!) and enjoyable.

Was that true?

A lot of fans have interpreted the Hayes parents' mention of a "pureblood union," and their initial difficulty/reluctance in conceiving a child, as hints that they were relatives, possibly even brother and sister. To the best of my knowledge, though, BKV has never confirmed this.
