The Leaky Cauldron felt comfortably familiar when Vicky arrived by floo. It had been a long time since she was here, but she was relieved to find everything looking like it had always done. There was something utterly relaxing about a place that never changed, Vicky thought as she scanned the place for familiar faces before walking over to the bar to order
( ... )
Cormac looked around as a few more people stood at the bar ordering drinks, as he waited for his lunch. He was hungry, so was pleased to notice that Tom didn't look too busy.
The lasst person in the queue was a girl that had been turning away as he looked up, and she caught Cormac's attention. He couldn't quite figure out why, as he didn't outright recognise her. She looked a few years youger than him though, so perhaps they had been in the same house at school. Cormac took a sip of his water and decided that must be it.
Why had she turned away when he looked at her? Sure, she didn't want to be caught staring at someone, but she could have just smiled and waved. She knew who he was, after all. Then again, there was nothing saying that he knew who she was.
Accepting her drink, Vicky took a sip of it, coughing a bit at the unfamiliar taste. It wasn't bad though, and she kind of liked the taste of rum in the drink.
Deciding that it was about time she behaved like the Gryffindor she was, she grabbed her drink and left the bar, nervously heading straight for the table where McLaggen was sitting.
'Hi, I'm Vicky, I think we were in the same house at Hogwarts,' she said, flashing him what she hoped was a confident smile.
Cormac looked up in surprise as the girl came over and introduced herself. "Hi, Vicky. I'm Cormac," he said, "I think we must have been. Up Gryfindor and all?"
Cormac hesitantly waved at the empty chair. Maybe she wasn't here on her own.
Cormac raised his eyebrows at her, and was about to deny it once again when the girl started walking over to them. "...Maybe." He admitted. Though it had been a long time since he'd even flirted with someone, and the girl was extremely attractive, Cormac did find himself wanting to stay and talk with Vicky instead.
He took a sip of his water and waited to see what the girl would say.
The girl didn't even introduce herself before taking a seat at the table, eyeing them both up and down with a smile playing in the corner of her lips.
'You're that Quidditch player,' she then said to Cormac. Not a question - a statement. 'And you're just gorgeous,' she added looking at Vicky.
Vicky, who was just trying to take a sip of her drink, coughed and stared at her. Had she really said that?
'What?' she asked, her voice shriller than usual, as she felt her skin heat up and flush.
'You've got great tits, you know?' the girl said unashamed, looking at Vicky in a way that definitely had her flushing all over. 'And I bet a keeper like you, have got great muscles under those clothes,' she added turning to Cormac, running her fingers along his arm. 'If the two of you are interested I wouldn't say no to a...little fun,' she said raising her eyebrows.
Vicky took another deep gulp of her drink only to find it empty.
'I need another drink,' she squeaked, getting up and escaping the situation before the girl could go on.
Cormac watched as the girl sat at their table without even so much as a hello. When she started hitting on Vicky, he found that he was slightly relieved, til she turned to him and ran her fingers up and down his arm. Cormac tried to ignore the tingles that followed, and swallowed hard.
"Um." He said, as Vicky fled to the bar. Part of him was amused at the way the girls eyes followed Vicky's (admittedly nice) arse all the way there, but most of him was floundering and had no idea what to do. "Um," he repeated, "I don't think we... I mean... I..." Cormac trailed off hopelessly.
The girl smiled widely at him and leant in, offering Cormac a view down her top. "I bet you and your girlfriend don't get too many offers like this." She said.
Cormac coughed and looked slightly to her right. "She's not my girlfriend."
"Shame," the girl purred, "I can quite imagine the two of you together. Your hands would fit perfectly over her tits, you know - wonderful for squeezing."
Vicky glanced nervously over her shoulder, feeling a bit guilty about leaving Cormac like that. Judging from the way the girl leaned in letting him glance down her top, however, she couldn't think he would mind

Rita Skeeter was in a bad mood. She'd missed a deadline, taken a bollocking from her boss and been told to come up with something FAST. Of course, the first place she went, having been given such an order, was the Leaky, intending to do no such thing
( ... )
Vicky instantly recognised the woman whose drink she'd copied earlier. So that was what it was she was drinking, she'd thought there was a hint of rasberry to it.
Recognising she must look like a fool, and still far to nervous to look back at the table she'd just sat by, she nodded while taking a sip. Maybe if she got drunk enough...
Rita glanced over the girl's shoulder at the goings-on at the table, watched McLaggen start to shy away. But this one, Rita thought - this one was decidedly not looking at the table.
"You look like you need somewhere to escape to," she smiled, "With that over there." She gestured non-comitally in the direction of the table, then glanced at the seat beside her. "Come, sit over here, and I'm sure she'll get the message."
Patting the seat with a long-fingernailed hand, she glanced up again and arched a brow.
Vicky wasn't sure why she felt a tingle run down her spine at the blond woman's words, but she decided to ignore it and take her up on her offer. Right now she could use a refuge from the conflicting emotions running through her.
She took another, closer, look at the woman in the seat next to her, finally recognising her.
'You're that reporter, aren't you?' she said, curiously, hoping to get a few pointers about writing. At least Cormac had seemed to think it was a good idea to write the book, so why not take the chance to get an opinion from someone who knew what it was like to write?
Vicky watched as Rita walked away, hearing her comment about owling her but knowing she never ever would. She waited until the door was closed once again, turning around to face the mirror above the sink when she was sure she was alone.
She looked positively...well, shagged, she supposed. Her hair was a mess and she had marks from Rita's lipstick as well as bites all over her neck.
How the bloody hell could she have let this happen? She didn't like women, she just didn't! So why had she let Rita do those things, and why hadn't she said no when she had the chance?
'Because you liked it, that's why,' her reflection in the mirror answered her back, making her start as she stared at the treacherous picture of herself.
'NO, I DID NOT!' she shouted back, frowning when she realised that she was talking to a mirror. Besides, even she knew it was a lie, the comfortable warmth of satisfaction was still lodged in her body and her cunt still pulsating from her climax
( ... )
Vicky faltered a bit at Cormac's statement, wondering how she was going to explain her long absence. Right now she was only sure of one thing - whatever happened, she would never, ever, admit to what had just happened.
'I didn't,' she said, even frowning herself at how obvious she was sounding. 'I just assumed you left with...her,' she added, not knowing her name. She was actually quite surprised he hadn't.
'I don't know if I ever met a guy that wouldn't before,' she explained with a shrug, hoping that wouldn't insult him. She'd had a very nice time before the girl arrived after all, and right now the only thing she wished was that she'd never left the table at all.

"She wasn't my type." He said, shrugging off his worry.
