I was really looking forward to this second part. I have to say, I can tell there was a different writer for each half just through characterisation, but it was still an all-threads-tied ending to what was an ( pretty great two-parter. [SPOILERS] )
I realise I am moderately behind the times, here, but SciFi UK is only just showing the series.
Anyhoo, if anyone should stumble across this archived thread, I have a random question: am I alone in interpreting Mike's line to KI3T - something like, 'If you're about to tell me you've fallen in love with me, I won't be happy' (when KI3T called Mike aside to tell him about Charles) - as a dig at the original series? I just remember that NBC were a bit nervous about Michael and Kitt's close friendship, during the first season of Knight Rider!
I've got to say that I honestly doubt this set of writers had any idea about the old 'issue' with the censors. I think they just wanted to give Mike a snappy line.
