The Storyteller - bittersweet, and just this side of painful. You can hear the nostalgia in Kitt's voice, and when Sarah asked him if he had any friends, my heart crumbled to the ground in pieces.

Hope Deferred - I had to read it twice; once to get the story, and once to go back over and savor the descriptions. Even your descriptions of everyday objects like the butcher's block or the gas burner just came to life, zinging off the screen.

A lovely job, on both counts. Where have you been all my life?
