Shame on you, Hugh Laurie!

Yesterday, I watched House between one adbreak and the next.

Quick question...

What the hell were those three young doctors doing, giving the patient an MRI without a radiologist present? In fact, the blonde guy was operating the MRI himself. Is he a qualified radiologist as well as a doctor?

If he is, please disregard my bitching.

tv!

It's a TV SHOW!!!! And, there is no shame due Hugh Laurie who has absolutely nothing to do with that aspect of the show.
Do you know ANY medical show EVER that did EVERYTHING by the book?????
Maybe you should GET A LIFE!!!!!!

Who is sadder, ladies and gents? The person who makes a joking post about a tv show or the complete stranger who takes offence and chucks a hissy?

I'm amused by the concept of someone jumping in and shouting in CAPITALS OF DOOM telling you to get a life. Irony, much?

(ooo! I get to use my new Nelson icon!)

I didn't see any evidence of that.

Wow a troll! Hee!

Also you don't need a radiologist. You need one of those to report the piccies.

What you do need is a radiographer. BUt on that show the doctors apparently have time to do nursing duties and run their own blood tests so reality - not so much.

From a recent Hugh Laurie interview:

" doctors could never carry out as many procedures as ours do. There would be an MRI technician, a radiologist to interpret the MRI and another doctor to present those findings to the patient. But we can’t have a cast of 85 people. It’s more satisfying to have these characters do everything rather than show patients waiting around in an office for results. That would be slightly less exciting to watch."

So there you go.
